What form of writing do you like most, is it writing by hand, using an old typewriter or using the extremely popular computer way.

For me, I ususally type on the computer but sometimes I have an urge to use my typewriter. I just like the way it sounds, gives me a good feeling. I hate writing by hand, I have bad hand writing as it is and I always get hand cramps.

I'd probably say the computer. It's fast and easy, and just works out well. I don't mind writing by hand as long as it's not a lot of writing, because I actually sort of like my handwriting. A typerwriter sounds like it would be really fun and nice to use since it's smaller and I could use it in my room or other rooms where the big computer isn't. However, some typewriters are hard to erase on. It can be a real pain having to pull out the paper, white it out, then stick it perfectly back in place. But the more modern ones are better.

I like writing by hand {printing} and using my mom's old typewriter.

I seem to end up the most eloquent when I write on the computer. Maybe that's because I can revise easily. I usually write on the computer. Sometimes I use my typewriter, and by hand when I have to or are too lazy to boot up the computer or drag out the typewriter.

I don't have a real preference, though I usually don't like writing by hand, cause my handwriting is horrible and hard to read.

I prefer using the computer, but I like writing on paper too. I think typing is neater and easier for me. Though when I write on paper I have more space for different writing styles that the computer dosen't have sometimes. On the computer I much faster at writing and also I have more creative vibes when I'm typing on the computer than on writing on plain paper. So I say technology all the way! Cheers for computers and all its wonderful wonders. XP XD

I prefer using the computer to hand writing because:

My handwriting is bad.

You don't need Tip Ex to erase errors.

You don't waste a lot of paper if you don't have Tip Ex or can't find the Tip Ex.

Printing it uses less paper than handwriting it.

If I'm writing a story, the rough draft is ALWAYS on paper. When I'm done I then type it up on the computer.

For everything else, though, I usually use the computer.

Computer. I have a typewriter, but when I make mistakes, I have to use white-out or start over. My handwriting is pretty messy and it doesn't look very nice when you make a mistake and cross a word out or whatever.

I definitely prefer using a computer for writing out essays and other assignments like that.

Some people I've met have typed out math assignments. That's kind of weird, if you ask me.

I prefer to write out by hand. Although a computer is convenient and I can type pretty fast, I can't seem to think while using it non-stop like I can with writing on paper. And I always seem to drift off to the Internet when I'm typing an assignment...

I usually write by hand, however the fatal flaw in doing so is that only I can read the marks.

For school we have to type most things out and print them so I work my essays and other such documents there. I type a lot faster than when I write and it's much easier to cut huge sections out, but I still love writing by hand best.

I think it's a pleasure to be able to look at a page of notes and see neat handwriting. Besides, it's good practice for all the written exams for me to write whenever I can and extend the length of time before I get cramp in my hand.

It's a bit sad for me that a lot of people don't like writing by hand. Actually, I really suck at pretty handwriting, but I still try because it's an artform and everyone can go, "Ooooooooo" and "Aaaaaaaaa". (Just kidding - sort of. :P) It's like a lost art if people don't learn how to have good handwriting.
