I have fully mapped mine twice, both times coming up with 24 different sets of paths. All paths are accounted for, and there is no exit. :cry:

I don't know what to do now, I really can't see what I might have missed.

Despite having finallly collected all 9 items it still comes up with the message "you can't use that right now" when I click on the capsized boat on the frong page. Is there something i'm doing wrong? Please let me know, and thanks

Go to your items inventory, pick up the thorns and click on the boat. Then just continue trying out every item until your boat is steadied.

About finding the Jawbone, a friend of mine said this:

I found it! It was in an unmarked spot just to the right of the giant mootix.

I'll have to take their word for it, I just thought that might help some of you.

Edit: My friend meant on the MAP, just for clarification.

I counted 23 screens on my map, not including the ship. I've mapped them out and navigated through all of them. Did not see a bucket on a single one. And I don't see it in my inventory, either.

I really hope I (or anyone else, really) don't have to re-map everything tomorrow night because of some stupid glitch.

Ok, I did it--at least as far as anyone else has. I have a floating boat. And in my inventory I have a wrench, vines, thorns and a jawbone. P.S. to any Stephen King fans who have read the gunslinger series--the jawbone cracked me up. (I just started re-reading the series again last week.) I wonder if we've all missed something obvious-like a rock or SOMETHING!

In the woods, my "bucket" was actually a grey flower pot (with a red flower in it). After I picked it up, I had a bucket in my inventory...

Welp looks like I'm one of the "lucky" ones stuck in a never ending loop

... if they decide to reset my map I wont be too upset since I just started and only found 2 items (already had 2 when I started)
