If it had just been me seemingly mismapping my puzzle, I would've spent another hour or so re-mapping it, but there are some glitches mentioned here that can't just be coincidence. Thanks for reassuring me that I'm not clumsy.

Yeah, i'm missing the Steam valve/cap thingy. Hand drew my map and was sure i missed something, so opened photoshop and plotted the map that way, have all the screens, 24 on one path and 2 on other and no valve. So frustrating.
My argh! map

Well, it seems I was one of the lucky people in this step. I found my items quite quickly and have now fixed my boat without running into gliches, loops or other trouble.
Good luck to everyone who is stuck atm, I hope TNT will fix it soon.

I got lost a few times, nearly threw my notebook in ire (!!) but in the end my ship is floating. Yay. Thanks for everyone's tips, discussions, explanations, etc.

Even though I've managed to get hold of all the items, my map doesn't make any sense =.=
For one of my locations, I can go to there from 3 different places, but I can only reach 2 of those places from that location...a literal one way street.
Then I have a deadend, in the sense that that location only has one road....
...and it seems that I'm not alone.

I still can't find my wheel for ship, everything else is done and now I'm lost in maze. can't find my way out.

Hi everyone! I've got the branch stuck on my path - what item do I need to cut through it?
Thu May 24, 2007 9:00 am
My boat is fixed and is upright now. I have four items left in my inventory, the ratchet, vines, thorns, and jawbone. Is that correct? Am I supposed to be on the boat or just looking at it?
Thanks for all of the clues and encouragement everyone

It's appreciated!

Katdragon, use the jawbone to cut the branch.

Ah, haven't found that one yet. I think I'm going to switch mapping to photoshop, that way I can move around the tangled lines that are confusing me on paper!

I'm stuck in an endless loop

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!
I've mapped the entire maze, marked every single path. But I only have 23 screens (including the ship) and NO BUCKET!
Those of you who got stuck in a loop fairly early on should feel lucky that you didn't waste as much time as me. *headdesk*

You won't find it in the jungle, you'll have to go to the diary, click on it so that it shows the map, hilight the text above the map, then press "tab" and then press "enter". Alternatively, you can also try clicking on the arm of the giant mootix (I think?) on the map, that will give you the jawbone too...

I've gone round my maze several times, and I can't find the pesky branch!
Other than that, I have everything!

If I were you, I'd try random clicking until you find your ship back. If you're lucky, you'll get the wheel/branch while doing so... If you're not (like me when looking for the branch), start searching again and start mapping from the first entry point, this is what got me to the branch in no time...
