Ah, they aren't acrylic. They're cheap glue on nails.
I bite my nails, my cuticles, the skin on the edge of my fingertips, and pads of my fingers. My nails are as short as possible, but I've had long nails before. They were part of another bet, but that is besides the point... ;P

Robot, I bite my nails too. And the cuticles and the skin around the edge. Stopped many a time, sometimes for even a few years, but somehow or another they are comfort food. Lol. Those of you who don't bite have no idea what I am talking about. Those of you who do know exactly what I mean. Stress plays a big role in it. So you have my sympathies. If you need them, that is.

And may I just say, you all are so sweet looking. I know, it's a "mom" saying it. But nonetheless, every one of you looks just so happy in your pics. And happiness is key.

Oh, I'm the same with nail biting. They're dreadful. I can't open ring pull soup cans.

I'm really trying to stop my nail-biting habits, but I totally agree with Morningstar, it's "Comfort Food".

I've been trying to stop it lately, but it hasn't really been working. A good tip I've learned is to substitute nails for gum-chewing.

Haha. I can't either. The cans of soft food that our kitties eat in the morning and evening have ring pulls on them as well. When my dad feeds them they go running at the sound of the ring pull, but when I feed them, they run into the kitchen at the sound of the knife drawer opening. ;P

Mat, your hair kind of looks like mine right after I got my haircut. I'd post a picture, but I don't have one of me with a good enough angle that you can actually see the hair and I don't look like a total cooz. Have you got any other pictures, more from that hat party or anything else? Those sound like they'd be fun to see.

Here's my costume for the POTC3 Premiere.... got tickets for the first show like... the SECOND it was possible ( I was litterally waiting for 2 hours for them to become available) and then I wore this costume... and had an AWESOME accent that matched him PERFECTLY.... and thats not me bragging, I had people compliment me on it... and I walked around making fun of people who had lesser pirate costumes, and making jokes like the joke about "a pirate in a bar who had a ships steering wheel attatched to his crotch, and it was 'drivin' me nuts".... and other things like "Arrlright, mayke suure, youALL come back next summar... tew sei muah next Poirate mewvie..... "Poirates ouv the carribean Foa.... Jack Searches for booty!"

It was awesome.

Haha thanks a lot of people have said that I have really blue eyes, but last time I checked I'm sure they were more greyish, must be going out of my mind.
