I was wondering if any of you guys knew some secretive methods of getting a Krawk aside from the 7million NP cost of getting the morphing potion and petpet. As in, much cheaper methods.

Krawks are unfortunatly my absolute favorite Neopet, and my first major Neopets goal is to own one (hence my sig). I've tried looking at adoption sites.. but the problem is most people want art or, stories of their pet before they will give them away. I mean i can sure as hell see why, but ive never been good at those areas.. my only skill seems to be music, and i am still a beginner at that. That and theres still the gamble when it comes to actually adopting the pet, because at this point you cant trade or transfer a pet.

Irl im a huge Alligator and Crocodile nut (R.I.P.: Steve Irwin), and i hope to one day volenteer at a reserve to help raise them. I love reptiles of all sorts, so you can see why Grarrls and Krawks are my favorite two Neopets species.

Note: I'm not asking you to donate NP or items, im only looking for better stradegies. Id really like to earn the pet myself.

Hm well I poked around trades, it seems like the Krawk Transmogrification Potion is going for around 3 million, I couldn't find a price for any normal morphing potions or the petpets.

I'm pretty sure you can't get krawks from the lab and even if you could, the odds wouldn't be the best.

I'm afraid I'm not much help, but I would go for the Krawk Transmogrification Potion.

3 million now? Oh great just as i start saving the value increases lol.. maybe i should beg for NP at some point :p. Not to an annoying point though. Maybe if i could get good with my music i could make custom profile songs for people...

Begging is against Neopets' rules. And it is also against PPT rules. The rules for General Chat state: My guess is that this rule applies to the entire PPT site. Just to check - are you looking to get one Krawk or two? I mean, do you want a Krawk pet, petpet, or both? Cause you can get a Krawk pet EITHER by using a transmog/morphing potion OR by taking a Krawk petpet to the Fungus caves. Just wanted to clarify, because it sounds like you're under the impression you need both to get a Krawk pet.

lol, none taken at all.. it was sort of a joke but i failed to indicate that. Theres so many detailed rules on Neopets that it drives me absolutly nuts.

I am still interested in making custom songs for people when i get better though.. for free of course :p.

So all i need is the actual transmog/morphing potion? I'm guessing that would be mearly 3million NP then?

You need either

1. A Morphing potion or the Krawk Transmog => Use on a pet
2. A real krawk petpet (zapped ones don't work) => Go to the Fungus Caves

Cool. I was hoping that was the case.

Also bear in mind that you need an empty pet slot if you want to transform the petpet to a pet. For the Transmog option it isn't necessary, since you tranfsorm one of your existing pets.

Technically, you can also get a krawk from a magical krawk plushie, e.g. "Magical Red Krawk plushie".

However, I believe that they'd cost more than the transmogrifying potion.

btw, does anyone know how the level of a Krawk (petpet) affects the neopet that it would change into through the fungus cave?
