I hope Neopets doesn't go like Maplestory.
It's not buying pixel items with real money that bothers me, it's buying pixel items who disappear after a while. After all they're virtual, so it's not as if they get worn or anything. It's just wrong on so many levels. And then it would be just a matter of time until you could buy 15-icon weapons for cash.

90's Nick shows are some of the best ever. Kids today wouldn't know a good TV show - animated in particular, although Avatar and Foster's are quite good - if it thumped them on the head.
As long as the site stays free, I really don't care two bits what merchandise they put out. I would love another video game though.

As long as the site stays free, I really don't care two bits what merchandise they put out. I would love another video game though.
Neopets will always probably be free, but you're still giving money to them even if it's not your money. Each hit an AD gets, they get money. So if there's 50,000 users on at a time, and each hit gets them money.. it adds up, so I don't see why they need all this extra revenue from selling items for real money (the feature soon to be in beta), and everything else they're trying to do.

Well, IMDB says the movie will be rated PG and be 85 minutes long. (The comments made on it look... ah, encouraging). It's funny that it has a 12% rating when it hasn't even been released.

That's actually a popularity rating, by viewing that entry we're making the ranking go up. Or something similar, anyway.
