Neopoint Duping via Glitches
To make a long story short, it would probably be best to suspend any potential auctions or trades.
Supposedly, there's a glitch out there that some people were exploiting roughly an hour or two ago that duplicated their Neopoints. Those people were then using those Neopoints to overbid on auctions that were up at the time (i.e. a Krawk Transmorph for 15.7 million, excessive amounts of Neopoints for PBs, etc.).

I'd suggest that anyone with a mall should set all prices to zero or empty it all out. I've heard of them buying out shops and then end up being frozen. I'm not sure if it's true, but I heard the shops haven't been restocking and the stock market is stuck.
A server rollback is really the best thing to do now.

I had been trying to downgrade my bank account last week, because I wanted to see the difference in how much I would earn in interest with the different accounts. I wasn't able to downgrade my bank account, so they may have been dealing with some issues at that time as well. If so, then this is probably a pretty big problem. Hopefully they will take care of it soon!

I wouldn't worry too much about the shops. At least in my experience, so long as you aren't intentionally exploiting glitches you're fine. Every time I've had a glitch/problem I've just reported it, and every time I've gotten something back that says some variation of "Oh, it sounds like that was a glitch in your favor. Don't worry about it! Signed, Random Neopets Staff Member".
Now, if your reaction to hearing about this was filling your shop with keychains priced 99,999 and someone bought them all, that might be a little different and thus you might have something to worry about. I suspect that isn't the case for most if not all of the people here, though.

Eegh. I'll be sticking to very basic things until this blows over.
That really stinks. I only returned to Neopets last night after having been away for over 6 months. Made quite a killing on the stock market, though, so I feel happy about my np situation. I have just enough outside of the bank for the time being to do most anything I need to do. I'm thankful for that.
