That really is amazing. It's happened before though. I read about it in a real life stories magazine. Although it was slightly different, it was still an internal decapitation. She is a very lucky woman, though, and I hope she makes a full recovery, even though it will take a long time.

Back in my day, people survived decapitation all the time. Then they walked 40 miles to school, AND wiped their bottoms with stinging nettles.
