This thing is so bad that if I could lead a new American Revolution against England, I would. Just for that logo.

Yes, yes I did.
ut seriously though, the amount of money they spent on it, you would have thought they would come up with something half-way decent.

I think it looks...immature. My big beef is the color...and the fact there's only one...and the fact that it's magenta of all things. It looks like the 2012 Teenage Pink Glitter Girl Olympics. I....guess the shape is...alright. Logo design in general seems to be heading towards a more abstract, artsy, stylized phase. Not saying I like logos that require way too much brain processing time...but that seems to be the trend. The Turino logo required some explanation before I "got it" too. But that at least looked classier and more sophisticated.

this logo makes me want to become mongolian or something.....and Im actually proud to british! As a swimmer who wants to go compete in the 2012 olympics, i really hate that logo. It says nothing about the olympics and it really doesnt sybolize anything either, apart from vomit from the 80's! I say the chaps who designed this logo could do WAY better

At first I thought it was a guy vomiting... The first 2 is the head the 0 is his back the 1 is his barf the other 2 is his legs and that seperated part is his hands it looks like a guy bending over to barf to me.

I think, for the amount they were paid, they maybe should have done more than just try.

To reiterate, they were paid £400,000. Aproximately $816,240 US.
Edited for spelling.

To re-literate, they were paid £400,000. Aproximately $816,240 US.
Holy cow. I could make tons of better logos for free, if I wanted to. Plus, I thought the Olympics were about proving you were the best, so why does the logo look like crap?
