Summertime means one of my favorite things: sno cones! (shaved ice, whatever you want to call them).
Whats your flavorite flavor(s)?
Personally I love cherry cola and passion fruit. Not mixed of course. i'm very obsessed with sno cones though. I love them! Its one of my favorite parts of summer (besides the 4th of July in the states...I love exposives and the fact that theyre cheep).
We have this placed called Tropical Sno here. My favorite flavor from them is called the 'Mark McGuire', which is flavored with strawberry daquiri, vanilla, and a hint of peach.

Dawn, you're not from Missouri? are you?
and we have lots of Tropical Sno places in StL. I have no idea what the one down the street from me is though. it doesnt seem to have a name...but its good and cheep. I also like S&J's in Barnhart where I grew up.

they're most likely the same thing. Ice and flavored sugar water right?
They're both ice and flavoring, but a slush puppy is a slush drink (the kind you find at gas stations). A sno cone is not a slush drink, because it's not really a drink, and also the ice is different. My preferred flavor is one the little stand down the street used to call "razzle-dazzle" and is blue flavoring(blueberry) with red flavoring(usually cherry, but sometimes strawberry or raspberry).
"Oh, better far to live and die/Under the brave black flag I fly/Than play a sanctimonious part/With a pirate head and a pirate heart."

Haha...same!!!
For me, it's all comes down to ice cream (Coldstone's, Piccomolo, Connie's Custard, etc.) instead of snow cones. They're not really big on flavored ice in my area.
