I'm kinda glad it's taking a while - I didn't miss *too* much while I was gone for 5 days.

And Chipper, I don't think it counts against us if we don't vote (in time), or if our votes aren't counted - it wasn't in the rules, at least. I think Xyzzy stated that once the required votes (# of baddies +1) is reached, the lynch is considered done, so further votes don't really matter that day.

"SHUTUP, SHUTUP, SHUTUP!" screams Xyzzy. "I asked if you had anything useful to say, not if you wanted to win American Idol!"

Xyzzy, angered by the song, pulls out a small button. "The church bells are worse than you!" he shouts, as a giant bell lowers itself from the top of the cathedral-like room.

A tower (within a tower?) suddenly rises from the ground from under Miyu's feet, and she is unable to escape. Xyzzy pulls out a rifle and tells her to take the small rope from the bell.

Someone faints as they realize it's a noose.

"Put that around your neck," says Xyzzy. "This tower will slowly shake back and forth, with two effects: one, it will cause a loud ringing that will irritate you for a while, and two, it'll eventually cause the noose around your neck to kill you."

"And when will that be?" asks Miyu, annoyed by Xyzzy's song hatred.

"A few days," says Xyzzy, as he leads the remaining 28 to the second floor.

Miyu is left to die in darkness.

It is now DAY TWO! Miyu was a townsperson, so it takes 8 people to kill someone.

On the second floor there are two rooms: one painted black, one painted white. There is a strange clock around the middle pillar, with giant gears doubling as clock hands. The thickest one makes exactly one revolution per minute, hitting little rusty markers every second.
