Matching Pets and Petpets!

Ok, so I could REALLY use some help here.
I plan on painting a gelert Darigan and then Halloween to mix match the clothes. I am not completely sure which one I want as a base. But I know I am going to be using the wings from the Darigan one, and the cape from the Halloween one. I think I'm going to use the Halloween one because the Darigan one has something coming out of the top of the head. xD

ANYways, I'm looking for petpet matches. Price isn't really a problem...but I'd like to keep things under 1 mil and if possible 700k.

And I listed the male/female ones because the eyelids look kind of wicked looking halfway closed on the females. xD

And Hound, I made these two to base the matches on, I used boy bases because I couldn't find any females. Excuse the poor photoshop.







The red and purple combo is kinda hard to match, but I think the plain Snorlkin goes well with both, although not many people like that petpet.

A lot of these petpets could match both, but the black ones all could, so I put them down here.








Pink angelpuss works fine, I put four other pink petpets I'd think about below. You're pretty safe with any pink petpet you choose.


Personally, if I were to ever own a baby uni, I'd match it with a Black Alabriss, because together they remind me of that scene in Fantasia, and that was like, my favorite movie as a child.

As varii said the angelpuss (and almost any other pink petpet) would look good, but here are some other options:

I love Eizzils with Cybunnys. Plushie would go great, and so would the original color and purple. The black Eizzil would go great with the skunk cybunny, too.





These aren't color matches, but I think they look nice for different reasons.





Most black petpets look decent with the skunk cybunny as do most orange and purple pets look good with purple.

For the Ghost Gelert base, I really like a lot of the matches....
Some that stand out are the Flaming Wuzzle (I don't really know why, but it looks cool ), the Huggy -similar wing style, but it's got that awkward smile... The pinklet because of the attitude, the Drugal because it's so mischievous. And then of course the zomutt.

For the Darigan base, I like the quetzal, which I imagine is expensive, and the regular snorklin.
