It's sort of a long story..but I'll try to make it as short as possible:

I started playing Neopets on the account ralli12. I eventually got bored with Neopets, and so cleaned out my account and stopped playing until a year later, when my interest rekindled. I had hoped that I'd be able to return to my account, but, needless to say, I had forgotten my pass. No worries; I still had my e-mail address...right? No. I'd removed my e-mail address from the account when I cleaned it out.

I've had a few extra accounts, but I've always wanted to return to ralli12, since it was my first ever account. I was also trying to convince people that I have been playing for about two years, which isn't easy to do when you have a few-month-old account or two, and with your 'proof' being a dead account.


So my dilemna: how can, IF I can, convince the Team that the account is mine? I'm very well aware that it's a lost cause, but I want to at least give it a shot if it's possible. No sense in not trying, right?

I thought you couldn't remove the email address from the account. If you remeber what it was you could still try the send password feature in hopes that it's still in the database.

What a coincidence - I am having almost the same problem. My old account is 'avsha' and I'd really like it back but I have gained a new email address since then and have deleted my old one. I don't remember the password.

Any suggestions?

Well, you could try emailing them saying you want your passwords. I would suggest giving them as much info that would link you to that account as possible, including the old email address.

I forgot who I contacted to get my account back but i did send it in on the bug report page I told them everything I could about my account and they finally sent me a code to get me in. took about 6 months, but i've heard of others get then back sooner

I "forgot" my password a while back and just sent in an autoform to TNT. Make sure you fill in as much as you can remember from the account. They'll know your old email address, so include that in your message. It took two weeks for me to get my password reset so I could get into my account. .

If you kept anything in that old account, like pets, give the name, species and color of the pets along with anything you can possibly remember. It may be harder, because you said you cleaned the account out. Give them the name you had in your user preferences (if you remember), the dob, the old email addy, etc..

Now whether TNT will even have a record of that email I don't know. You do have the option of removing an email, but because of things like trying to get a password, etc., not having any email in your preferences could be a big problem. Especially on an inactive account.

I'm not saying it's a lost cause, definitely write to Support with your current email and all that other information. It's worth a try at least!
