I'm so glad the cup is almost over for the year. I played a couple hours today and a couple yesterday, watching movies at the same time so I wouldn't get too bored. I'll end up a rank 11.

I had fun while it lasted too... but I'm glad it's over. I actually had dreams about Yooyu ball because I played so much of it. If all my 20 games for today are counted, I should be level 12 tomorrow morning. I'm more than satisfied with that.

I just lost my fervor for YYB around the time of the finals. My brain saw the sun outside and wanted to be there instead... so I "slacked" off by going to the pool instead of playing. I hope we get cool prizes.

I played 38 games of Yooyu Ball today (which for me was a lot) and a bunch of games of MSN. I made sure that I would get more than enough points for the next rank just in case some didn't get counted. I really wish I had been more dedicated earlier in the tournament so I could have gotten a higher rank, but no use crying about that now. Either way I'm plased with getting up to Rank 9 considering I've been working too jobs.

Congrats to those of you with high ranks and stuff. I definitely admire/respect those of you who've worked your tail off for the higher ranks.

Although now that I'm officially 'done' I must say I'm glad to not have to play those games anymore.

So Brightvale didn't make it to the final four (suprise suprise). Now I get to choose a team to join, and I have no idea s to who it should be. I'm thinking perhaps Roo Island since my permie is a blumaroo. Gotta represent, yo.

Hah. Seriously though. I haven't played, well, any games of yooyu ball (actually I did play one) so I'm stuck with the beginning rank. Oh well. I thought that the Altador Cup was something I could get into, but it wasn't.

I'm sure its been discussed, but could someone give me some idea of the level/prize breakdown. is it like with plot points but only the winning team users get to spend them? say im on the winning team but only level 2, I will get squat?

i basically gave up on playing youyu ball once i realized that i'd have to play about a million games to get up to the highest rank. i got past beginner, i'm on rank 1, and i'm okay with that. i don't see how tnt expect normal people to have enough time to play that many games, but i'm not gonna gripe about it.
i'm really glad the tournament is almost over. they really needed to make it only a single round robin..
my predictions for the places at the end of the tournament.. exactly as they started out. roo, darigan, shenkuu (sweet comeback there), krawk, in that order.

Nobody knows (I think), the structure of Ranks and stuff is new this year, last year the trophy was based on where your team came (well, mine was) and you got points depending on how much you played.

I'm hoping that each rank has a different shop That'd be fun.

Whew. Well, at least that's over. By my count, I submitted 229 games today--which, if all my math is right and all of them get counted, puts me about 10 short of Rank 17. Ah, well. I like silver better than gold anyway. It's prettier.

Yep window still opened and bookmarked it too in case my scores fail to send and I have to reload. It worked during the rest session before round robin but I'm not sure if anyone is in the same situation as I am.

Last year, devotees of the two finalists (devotee = player who has been with that team since the beginning) each received a valuable book and a fancier trophy than the supporters. As well as that, everyone received points based on how much they had played, and those points could be spent on prizes in the prize shop. What team you supported had no effect on your prize points.

I would guess that it will be similar this year: devotees will get a bonus prize, but everyone will have prize points to spend based on their personal achievements.

EDIT: My points have updated, they are all present, and my shield is red. YAY!! No updates on the team standings yet, though.
