Not exactly Heroes-related news, but it still involves Heroes stars. Plus, I am surprised that no one mentioned this already.

Sylar is Spock!

Not exactly surprising news, but he'll become the third main character from Star Trek (after Sulu and Dr Tolian) to have been part of the Heroes' cast. And now we get a clue about the plot of Star Trek as well: Sylar and Mr Linderman travel through time, with Nakamura-sama piloting the time machine, and bring Kirk back to life! I wish!

Heroes is getting a name change to Star Trek now. Uhura, Sulu, Spock, and Reed are all regulars? And to think, NBC was the original network to cancel Trek. Now they have most of the cast back on a top rated sci-fi show.

Now all we need is Ricardo Montalban to turn out to be the leader of all of the heroes, or Augments if you will, and lead them on, say, a Eugenics War.

Sorry for going all Trekkie on everyone. I just think it is really cool how Trek and Heroes are melding in interesting ways.

For those of you who haven't seen it, Kristen Bell has been cast to the show (along with like 7353454 other people, but... ).

A few minor spoilers about her character, but nothing really important.

I'M SOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS. I'm a huge fan of Kristen (she was Veronica Mars, for those who don't know her), and I can't wait for her on the show! I'm really hoping she's a villain, I think that would be great!

She even turned down Lost for this!

(Oh, and BTW- I read in another interview with her that she's signed up for at least 13 episodes, not the like 3 or 4 I was expecting when I read the article.)

That article says it's unclear whether she's good or bad, but I hope the show doesn't drag out how unclear it is like what they did with HRG... I kept going back and forth about whether HRG was good or not.

And the DVD set for season one comes out on Tuesday! I'm probably gonna wait and get it either for my birthday or for Christmas.
