Have you guys ever heard the song "I've got some falling to do?"

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/falling

I hope that one of them, has that in their head.

I agree with Initiate a conversation

Allright guys, this is the end of the road... .... for this particular thread anyway. Its far into the 10th page, so im going to split it up here.

But first!

Here's a nice summary you can all relate to and look over before we continue the story onto another thread. How lovely!

SO IT BEGINS.

So I was walking along the lakeside in Yellowstone National Park with my dog...
Image

and all of a sudden... it pulled me to the edge of the lake and started barking madly toward an island in the middle of the lake.

Image

I've never seen my dog this insane before. What should I do? Hes practically dragging me into the water!

Try again with your shirt, but rather than just throwing it over the dog's head, tie up the arm sleeves so it actually stays on.

I highly suggest that you try doing something else about the situation. Following this path seems to be taking you somewhere you don't want to be.

Kymothy wrote:
Situation solved! He now can't go to the other tree. How about now... letting him off his leash and seeing where he goes?

Kick him into the water.

Anywho, check your inventory

Well, that WOULD have been feasable, if some person hadn't suggested the sacrifice of my pants to my dog... I had my pockets loaded with treasures of all sorts... but I believe they are now inside of my dog. I have these things however:

What great use of time and clothing.

Better yet, use the branch to test how deep the water is before you blindly jump in.

Oh, look at that! It's barely deep at all!

Covertly swim toward the island, hoping the park visitors/rangers/wildlife are all too busy to notice a nearly-naked guy swimming in a lake.
(This guy's gotta go somewhere before he loses the rest of his clothing.)

Swim over to the lake, and get on it, then flop like a dead fish to see if anything happens.

Might I point out a few errors in this? Im allready in the lake, and unless you are in a river which leads to a lake, its hard to swim over to the lake from in a lake, and as far as I know, dead fish cant flop very well.

WIS wrote:
Swim to the island. :O

Officially swam to.

EXCITING!

Okay, when there are lots of good suggestions that I cant choose from, I just use the one that I liked that was posted first! In this case, it's:

Moongewl wrote:
Hmm, is that a boat and some footprints?
Go check out the boat thing. Look inside. See if there's picanic basket.

Oh my goodness!

Image

Will you look at THAT!

Image

There IS a picanic basket!

CWisgood wrote:
Before throwing, look in the basket for food/murder weapons/unattached body parts.

Wow, theres food, possible murder weapons, AND unattached body parts!. After dumping it out beside the boat, I seem to have found...

Image

...
A couple of fish heads
An old spoon
An almost empty bottle
An Apple Core
A pencil
And an empty zip-lock baggie.

Moongewl wrote:
Take that thing that's inside the bottle that looks like a note out of the bottle. Read the note, if that's what it is. THEN eat it. Hope it's not a self-destructing message!

My apologies for a slight delay. I just worked for a straight 18 hours, plus sleep on either end. Now I'm back! I'll make up for it with lots of action.

Well look at that. Apparently I activated his laser eyes.

I'm going to be gone all day again, so I made sure to make this one nice and eventful.

AH! WHAT THE HECK? Where did that mangey mongrel take me? A food room or something? AHH! ACORNS EVERYWHERE!

Im making up for not being around twice a day by making this story get twice as big every time... seriously.

I found one suggestion particularly creative... and I look for the suggestions that will mostly like have the greatest reaction and help to progress the story... in this case, this ... one little step... progresses a little bit.

Once again, this person seems to know what they're talking about!

Whoops! I seem to have burried the boat within the leaves!

But what a perfect cliffhanger to leave this part of the story with.
