site problems?

#1 Post by Hedobastet »

Is there anyone else out there that is having trouble accessing some parts of the neo site today? I can explore and go to my shop and bank - but not directly to my items, secret lab, council chamber, etc. It just times out. :(

I can't get the site at all now.

And now I can. It may have been a server slow down.

Have you cleared cache? (For IE it is tools/internet options/delete files, then delete cookies or delete the specific NP cookies if you are familiar with the cookies on your computer.)

Neo is very slow for me. Yesterday one of the pages, kou-jong, crashed my browser three times.

deleted the neopets cookies. and it's still not working. wonder if it has something to do with germay maybe? all other web pages are loading fine, so it's not me anymore (that cookie thing) so who knows. i'm not that great with puters.

You probably already tried this, but in addition to deleting cookies you should clear the cache, that is, delete temporary files. It does seem strange. I don't know if calling your Internet service provider would help?

The site's been slow for me.

On cable internet, everything gets cleared after any site's visited, so I know it's not my temp files, cache, cookies, etc.

For awhile I thought maybe all the storms happening across the country were affecting things, but Neo seems to be the only site that does run slow. Images take awhile to load, navigating takes longer than it should. I don't know, once they made the site "new and improved" it's been overall slower for me.

The site was fine yesterday, and even early this morning. But right now it's slower'n molasses flowing uphill in january.
