I dunno. I don't even know how many light fittings we have. And some of ours are more than one lightbulb. Eg, our lounge one has 6 bulbs.

...Now I'm going to have to go and count cause I'm curious >_>

I'm thinking about 16, but I'm not very sure how many bulbs are in the lights upstairs, so I could be very wrong there.

I have approx. 15, I think...

about half of them are some form of fluorescent with a third of the total barely being used more than 1 hr total per year (mostly the garage and the like)

And our house isn't even that big. At all.

Lightbulbs in sockets? Probably around 40-45. But about 15-20 of those are burnt out or have shorts, so we don't use them.

Light bulbs. Assuming you mean your typical overhead light or lamp light bulb, the kind that pops over your head when you get an idea... I have...

42? Is that more than noram? everybody hear has so few, but i dont see how....... I have 6 overhead light beams in my room alone (they are just basic lightbulbs in a tube that shoot down at a specific spot so my whole room is lit up) and then two lamps. Its teh same in the bedroom next to me, then two in the bathroom, 3 in the other bathroom, 2 in the laundry room, 4 overhead in the family room plus two lamps, then the eating area downstairs, eating area upstairs, living room, parents room, moms work room, dads work room, kitchen.

I dont see how some of you only have like 18 or so. I live in a basic two story house.

Living room, dining room and kitchen all have light fixtures with 3 bulbs each. That makes 9. There are 2 bulbs in the bathroom, one under the stairs -- 11. 1 in the guest room, 3 (?) at the top of the stairs -- 14. My main light isn't a light bulb, but I have a lamp that has one -- 15. I can't remember what's in my mum and stepdad's room -- no more than 3, making 18. Oh, okay, I forgot the fixture in the downstairs hallway...that makes a maximum of 21.

This is in a 3 bedroom terraced house...

Er. Wow. 34 downstairs, then 25 upstairs? 59? I'm not sure if I even got all of them... My mother doesn't like dark houses.

We still have out christmas lights up, do those count?

Lets see; without the christmas-flashy lights: 18 I think. Wait 19. 22 actually; I forgot the two above the kitchen sink.
