Those people with the asterisks by them are According To Pickles (ATP). So if they weren't actually in those rooms, blame her. :P

LOL, I *did* ask someone to double-check me on it. Since Xyzzy hasn't been posting the people who haven't been picking rooms, I did the best I could to make sense of it.

Anyways, if y'all want me to switch rooms, I'll do so. Switch: Room 2 I'm not sure how in the world we're supposed to track down the killers, as we've had no luck randomly guessing and we're quickly running out of time.
I agree with mjrinella, in that forcibly spreading out the killers would be a bad idea. But even if we moved suspicious people to the suggested rooms...it could be that only one of the "suspects" is a killer in room 1, and we'd still have 6 other killers spread out over the other 3 rooms without knowing it. I'm somehow doubting that we'll be able to pick off enough killers before it's too late. Seems rather set in the killer's favor, unless we get lucky and start randomly picking them off.

...and killers want to fess up? We'll ask for your death to be quick...

A lot has happened while I was away - I think I've pretty much backread everything since I left, though.

You are welcome to put me in whatever room you think is best - I don't care and since I'm not one of the "suspicious" people I'm willing to bet I'm not really that important in that choice anyway. I can certainly see the logic behind spreading out the suspects as well as putting them all together, but I don't have a particular opinion about which is most logical. I can only agree that some strategy needs to be employed rather than voting on bandwagon and gut instinct.

Okay, I guess I didn't really have a point to this post...

For now, I will
choose room three but I am more than willing to change rooms if anyone decides to enforce a particular plan for room choices. I'd just rather at least have a choice if nothing does come about.

That's sort of what I was trying to say, Pickles.

It stands to reason that not all of the currently suspicious people are going to be killers. Even if we group them all in the same room, there will be killers that we don't get. Since it's to the killers' advantage to have at least one of them in each room, what happens when all our suspicious people are in Room 1 and the kill occurs in room 3? We have a whole new batch of suspects to analyze.

I don't really see much hope for us...

Unfortunately, you've managed to voice exactly what I was thinking.

And in that same regard, I don't see how spreading everyone out would be to our advantage.

I doubt we're going to get a concensus on this, but it would help if everybody posted what they think. *Pokes the other 11 people to post* If we are going to pull this off, we're going to need everybody to cooperate - and the fact that 11 people haven't even posted over the course of Day 4 isn't very encouraging. My numbers may be a bit off, but it's somewhere around that general number.

So, I'm confused about where everybody stands. Go for it? Don't?

Also, maybe I'm not thinking like everybody else, but I think we need to group the suspicious people together. Let's pretend all of them are innocent, and that Joe is the killer:

Room 1: Ric, Penguin, Joe, Person, Person
Room 2: Ckillor, Wind, Person, Person, Person
Room 3: LovioNeko, Matterbug, People
Room 4: Palindrome, Person, People

Now what would happen if Joe killed Person in Room 1? We would execute either Penguin or Ric. If we don't group them together, our executions will end up getting indirectly manipulated :/

I hope that makes sense ^^;

Just thought I'd point out a totally non-obvious fact that's a side effect of the rooms:

The killers must kill someone every night. That means they could choose to kill one of their own to confuse ya'll, or they would be forced to if all the killers, and no one else, is in one room.

Realized this wasn't expressed clearly in the rules... feel free to do what you will with it.

Uhm, well, if they kill one of their own, all the better for us. We'd find out on the next day since we'll need 1 less person to get majority, is this correct?

Also, to mjrinella: suppose that every suspect is grouped in room 1. Someone in room 2 is killed. Where would we go from there?

I'm with Wind, I really don't know what to do about this situation. Whatever we do the baddies will use it to their advantage and confuse us more.

Yes, I guess they could. This whole thing has already confused me much more @_@ I am tired of all this thought, and want to do action.

We're clearly not going to get a concensus on this, and we need a concensus for this to work. So, shall we just see what happens tonight and go from there?

Ok, I've decided to use the randomizer to pick who my vote goes to. The people randomized are the suspicious people.

And it gave me Lovio.

Vote: Lovio
This vote will change if Lovio states a good case, or somebody else states a better reason to vote somebody else.

I'm not the kind of person who does revenge votes, I usually think it over before i vote.

Really, what is the randomizer going to do? I mean, it picks a random person without any thought, any reason to blame. It's just a lazy way to get out of thinking who your vote should be. Now, I don't really have anything to prove I'm not a baddie, which I'm not, but think about it. If we keep voting random people here, it's all gonna go downhill for us when we have to have 8 votes to execute someone again.

But, I think mjrinella knows that, and he's trying to get the innocents executed. So, who's with me? I think I have a reason to

vote: mjrinella

Ok, I'm getting a bit frustrated with the lack of activity in this game, so I apologize if I sound a bit... edgy. It seems everybody who is voted for gives a revenge vote. I think that is why nobody is starting executions, and I'm not afraid of that revenge vote. Anyways, here's my argument:

But, I think mjrinella knows that, and he's trying to get the innocents executed. So, who's with me? I think I have a reason to

I'm going to break this statement down.

Quote:
But, I think mjrinella knows that, and he's trying to get the innocents executed

I admit, I did accuse both Roxas and Wis of being evil. Wis was killed in the night scene, and the next day we executed Roxas. I did have a reason for starting that bandwagon, although I was too lazy to type it out at that time.

I accused Roxas of being evil because he said his role was awful
Then I accused Wis of being evil because he supported Roxas right away.

The night that I mentioned that, Wis was killed. My thinking was that it was an attempt to clear Roxas - if an innocent was supporting him, surely he would look innocent! Unfortunatly, he was, and I admit that, that execution was totally my mistake. If I did not accuse Roxas, we all know deep down in our hearts that we would've used the randomizer, and that would've been just as unlikely. Read back and see all my anti-randomizer statements.

Quote:
So, who's with me?

I'm not :P
Quote:
I think I have a reason to

This part of the post is what confuses me the most. Simply because I voted is hardly a reason at all. I mean, I don't know how the other people can endure waiting so long to start voting. I think it's probably because of that revenge vote. Or maybe its because I have lots of stuff coming up and I won't be able to actively continue to play. Tanner pointed out 7 different people that were all good candidates to vote for, and you were one of them. I know you can't post a valid defence agaisnt it - that's what makes this game so hard. I can't really give a good defence agaisnt yours either. The baddies are in total control, and were bound to win since Day 1. Unless any of them announce that they're evil, we can't really confirm that they're bad.

Plus, you seemed to act a bit too defencive today. Even when you were switching rooms, you seemed to be trying to cast suspicion off of yourself.

It doesn't really matter if I'm executed today, because I'm going to die tonight anyways (that is why you switched rooms, right?). This is a lost cause, and only a few innocents have stepped forward to try to help. 11-ish people haven't even posted since Day 4, and if that doesn't show the innocents are bound to lose, I don't know what does.

Grouping people together sounds good, I think -- there are a lot of "What ifs!" (such as, what if they don't get on to change rooms, baddies attack elsewhere, etc., etc.) and such that I can think of, but it will give us more of an idea of whom to execute.

Anyways, may as well keep going in order.

The thing I'm suspicious about you is that I think you're actually a baddie, lying and saying you used the randomizer, but actually just picked a random innocent person from who wasn't on your list.

I'm just being a little too defensive because I'm trying to defend myself, instead of just not talking and letting a bandwagon start. I think you're using this defensiveness to fuel your reason for voting me. It is not a revenge vote, but more of a reasoned vote off of the knowledge I have.
