Score to NP ratios have changed again. I just noticed it yesterday.

Kou-jong had been paying over 2 NP per score point, and now it is down to less than a NP per score point. It is too bad, from my point of view, since it takes a long time for me to play the game. I was wondering if the dip in ratio for kou-jong was somehow related to the fact that Kou-jong was the double-point game a couple days ago.

Freaky factory went up to 3.04, which is ridiculously high. I'd say it really shouldn't be higher than 1.

If i understand this correctly, the ratio is adjusted according to how "hard" the game is by how much points a gamer can earn from it on average, I think the ratios will be doing a merry up-and-down dance for a long while since a lot of us will be switching to more "profitable" games each time they switch ratios. :P

This is my understanding, also. So I wonder if the double score on the featured game causes a problem, that is, causes the ratio to change drastically such as the one in kou-jong did. Although, I rarely play featured games, so I don't know if in general those ratios have changed the day after the games were featured.

Well, it happened again, Great Qasalan Caper (not sure if i spelled that right) point ratio went down 1.1+ to .075 the day after it was the featured game... seems like gamers will have to keep an eye on that now...I wonder a game becomes featured game, say, twice in a week the ratio would drop more than half? I never thought i would ever consider it a bad thing when a favourite becomes the featured game :P

Thank you for the observation, Wandersong. *nods* This is what I suspected. I think when I get a chance I'll send a message to TNT in case they hadn't considered that this is happening. It doesn't seem that it should.

I see that kou-jong is still low. I didn't feel much like playing it when the ratio went from over 2 to under 1, but I wonder if we should continue playing the games, for the much lower ratio, to drive the ratio up again, eventually?

Same thing could be said for Shenkuu Warrior...

UGH THEY DID IT AGAIN.

This does not make Alex a happy camper, particularly when she'd just finished her 50k a day games guide, complete with how much each point was worth and how much you'd get for earning x points per game.

I gave up and created an Excel spreadsheet.

Gone, forever.

On the bright side, my favourite few, like Whack-A-Kass, Shenkuu Warrior, Snow Wars II and Bouncy Supreme have remained generally the same. :)

I was delighted to see that kou-jong has gone back up. That game takes too much time for me for it to be worth fewer points than the game score.
