Rainbow fountain???

I did a quest for one of the faeries today. After I completed the quest, it said that my pet would enjoy whatever gift at the rainbow fountain.
I went to the rainbow pool and nothing happened. Has anyone seen this before?

You're very lucky! You must have gotten a fountain faerie quest!

That means that you get to go to the Rainbow Fountain and the Fountain Faerie will paint one of your neopets almost any paint brush color!

Wow, lucky you! The Fountain Faerie has the ability to paint your pet almost any colour. Make sure to check a petpage like jauzlin or shieboo to see what the various colours look like on your pet, because the rainbow pool in neopia central no longer has accurate images of what pets look like. Also, it's a good idea to check out the prices of the various paint brushes. If you're trying to decide which pet to paint, I'd pick the pet for which you wanted a more expensive paint brush.

How do I make it work???
I know what paint brush to use but how do i get the Fountain faerie to give me my wish?
And is the rainbow fountain the same as the rainbow pool?

EDIT: Thanks for everyone's help. I chose Plushie paint brush for my Eyrie. Now I want a baby paint brush.
