When did the new search box (on the left under the pets pic) appear?
I'm sure I didn't see it last night

Maybe late afternoon to evening, NST. I for one am glad not to have to scroll down when I want to do a quick search. Plus the search actually works now, it was semi broken for awhile.

I started seeing it yesterday evening when I signed on. While it surprised me, I'm not sure if I prefer it to be there or at the bottom (it's currently at both locations) and I don't use search much.

I don't think I noticed it until today. maybe it's on a phased rollout?

I like it on the side better, easier to access, less scrolling down (especially on long pages)

Agreed, but you can't use it in the games room, where the bottom-of-the-screen searchbox doesn't work.

I like the side search box, it is more convenient than the bottom one.



The bottom one in the Games Room works for me.

Try going to any game's page and searching.

Ah! I see what you mean. I went to kou-jong and tried a search and got an error message.

I like it - I still forget that it's down the bottom normally XD

I like it, I use search a lot. But I don't like that sidebar on the side anyways.

I like it. It's so much more convenient to have it on the side there. I don't have to scroll all the way down and everything when I wanna do a search.

Much better on the side - as mentioned before, I often forget the Search bar is down the bottom and when I do, I find it annoying to keep scrolling down the page to use it.

For a while with the new layout, I had no idea where the search bar is. The location on the side is much nicer.
