My nifty little college lark is having an Assassins week! For those of you who don't know what 'assassins' is, the form we're playing it in (it can be done very differently) is that you get the name of someone you have to assassinate, and you have to say a particular name to them when nobody else is within line of sight/can hear you.
Bedrooms are off limits.

Nevertheless, does anyone who has played the game have any hints? i have a trio of freinds, and we're going to work together to not be alone unless assasinating, and our collective room veiws allow us to see when people leave college (alot of people get killed in lectures... not many empty rooms in college).

we dormies used to play that in Rolla. I only played once...and was killed early by my own cousin, but it was amusing to watch everyone else be afraid to come out of their rooms in fear of getting hit.

heh. We played that once when I was in college, 'xcept instead of saying a word, you had to pelt the person who was your target with socks. It was quite amusing to watch people do interesting dances to avoid being hit!

That sounds unbelievably fun. I have no advice, but rest assured that I am envious.

I saw it on TV once where they had to squirt each other with water guns, and OMG I've always REALLY wanted to do that!

There was a similar game in a book I read called Big Trouble--only the squirt guns the character used were mistaken(twice) for a real gun.

We played that particular version of the game over a couple of weeks in my school. We used squirt guns, and there had to be either one or two (I can't remember which) witnesses. I didn't win

First I think you should get an invisibility cloak.

we wernt allowed to use squirt guns in fear of ruining something...but we did use nerf guns, socks...anything you could chuck at someone. I was actually killed by a tube sock. My roomie was killed by a nerf gun from a fairly good distance away.

its funny, walmart is completely sold out of nerf guns once assassins begins.

Nerfguns sounds cool.... i think that'd be way more fun.

Nevertheless, I took the best suggestion and have been searching endlessly for an Invisibility Cloak. Neverthlesss, they dont lie when they say you can find ANYTHING on Ebay.

We have assassins next week. apparently last year people would hire out their services after they were dead and therefore stay with people that were still alive to keep them so.

be careful of making pacts - what if one of your friends has to assasinate you???

i dont think i'll be very good at it, but it sounds like college will be fun for a while!
