The terribly dubbed Clearasil adverts. It makes you wonder if their product is as cheap as their advertising team.

The one for Nestle's Oats and More. "Do you enjoy the blah bla blah" "Mmmmmmmmm" JUST STOP CRUNCHING AND ANSWER HIM!

I watch Fox before 8 PM, you see, and that's when you get all the lawyer commercials.

That reminds me of a commercial I saw last week where they tried putting two lawyers' names into a jingle. It wasn't pretty.

I had the tv on for a good while yesterday and I was taken aback by some ads that ran all day. They were supposedly some kind of game that you would call in and answer the question and you'd win $15000. The questions were real hard- such as what color is an orange a. purple b. blue. c. orange. The questions were obviously made so that anyone could answer them.

If you watched closely enough there was fine print that flashed across the screen underneath the questions. It went too fast for me to read the whole thing, but I did catch that the caller would be charged $5 a minute. I wonder how many kids or naive grown ups would be caught by this. "Oh boy! I know that answer! I'll call in and get $15000!" Obviously the rest of the fine print that I couldn't read since it flashed on the screen too fast disclaimed that callers would for sure win the money. So not only would a caller not win, they'd be charged for a call that would likely last for well more than a minute.

This should be illegal as a deceptive practice.

They're just getting worse and worse, too...

How about that one for the air freshener thing, with the kid on the toilet...can't even remember what it's for.

Fortunately, we have sky+, and I don't watch much that's not recorded, so I don't have to suffer too much...

I'd kill that girl just for using chatspeak.

Any of the commercials featuring the chick from McKinney Dodge (who's also in the commercials for Rug and Home) drive me to the brink of insanity.

I'd kill to live in Montgomery, Alabama. I wanna see commercials for Flea Market Montgomery.
Because everyone knows Sammy Stephens is made of genius.

Definitely not a regional ad, unless you count all of the US as one region, but according to about 5 min of ad viewing: ED is the leading cause of death in men, and you should take take a dumptruck full of pills daily or else you will die! I'm just glad I am still young and virile. I don't want to die from something as silly as that. Those are about... 90% of the ads I see.

I guess the top annoying local ads have to be the bail bonds ones starring the Fish Masters. (I think that is what they are called). One is the husband of a famous, local news anchorwoman, and he used her fame to create a really annoying character for local TV. He is everywhere...

Wow. I totally agree; isn't there a law or something that states that all underlying notes or whatever must be easily visible on ads? That's just so... scammish.

Have you seen the new one?
"Mom, what are you doing?"
"IDK, txting my BFF Rose?"
(The 'mom' is a grandmother, by the way)
