As (Primarily) Childrens books I was never expecting anything as thought provoking as an interstellar war between the Xeelee and the Photino birds, nor was I expecting a mythos that doesnt rely on "We alter there memory, Lawlz", I was however, that the books wouldn't magically (see what I did there) reach it's climax at the end of the school year. Seven years in a row.

Dumbledore: "Wait... It's the end of the school year, quickly, everyone, to your exams!"


I do however, forget my point.

I wouldn't exactly call them sophisticated or masterpieces, but I do think they are going to eventually go down as classics. Seeing with the series popularity and all......

I've read each book at least 5 times, haven't really kept count but it's probably a lot more

Okay, that's a little exaggerated, but Harry potter doesn't fulfill the requirements.

The one book I read (Da vinci code) read like an internet conspiracy forum strung together by horrible plot hooks and characters that make me want to stab things.

The Da vinci code is not a classic. It was controversial but not a classic.
I personally did not enjoy the da vinci as much as angels and demons. Now that was a good book but still, not a classic.

it's impossible for me to keep track, as I don't actually sit down and reread the book from cover to cover each time. After the second time, I'll just pick it up, open it to a random point or a point I like, depending on my mood. But all in all, I've read each of them many, many times.
