Hi I haven't played neopets in ages, and I still remember the password and username and the email address I used on my neopets account, but as I got my neopets account years ago I signed up under a different birthddate to my own as I didn't want people online knowing my birthday. However I have forgotten my birthddate so I can't log into my account, and I am afraid my account might be deleted if neopets does one of those wipe out the old accounts again. Do I have to email neopets, and if I do is there anything I should include? I can only remember one item in that account as it is worth alot now.

No, I'm afraid there's no way to retrieve your birthday, because you technically are supposed to have used your actual one, not that I did, either. The only option is to try a few dates everyday, and hope you get it right. If you have another account or a friend who has friended the account you want, you can estimate the year you put in, and that should cut down on the number of dates to go through a lot.

For me, I usually put my birthday, but change the year. Fewer chances of losing the date completely, and fewer options to try if I do forget.

One way that I know other people have retrieved their accounts is by finding out how old they are through a Neofriend. Neofriends can see your age on the Neofriends page. Once you know the age that you put on your account, start with January 1st of the corresponding year and guess each day in order. You can only try I believe three times a day. Eventually you'll hit the right date.

My first account I have ever had needs the birthday. Like mentioned earlier I asked a neofriend how old I was and eventually found the date.

You could maybe ask TNT for the birthdate and stuff by saying that a friend made you the account and put in the wrong birthdate by accident, because they thought that that one was right.

I'm afraid that if you were to tell that story to TNT, they would end up freezing the account. You're not supposed to have other people create accounts for you.
