I got the first place trophy, avatar and site theme. And 13 points. Yippee.

After turning in the points for an exciting keyring, I decided to check and see if I'd claimed prizes from past plots. Yikes! There were 20300 points left from the LDP. The LDP keyrings cost 1000 points each and are selling for around 18K.
20 X 18000nps = :)

Did points from last year's Cup carry over to this one?

Heh, I've asked that a couple times, but no one seems to know - including the neoboards. I'm hoping it'll be answered in the editorial.

Thanks for feeling with me :)

So, one question: Is it better to get the stamp or the books? I think a lot of people choose books, because they disappear after reading, but stamps are collectors items, so the price might go up as well. Any thoughts on this?

Heres how I ended up spending my points:

1 Slushies Book
3 Jerseys
and one each of my top favorite teams (HW, DC, KI)

Left with about 6 points left over.

How many points did you have to score to get the top items?

Looks like we got our answer to the old shop, but not the trophies or team prizes. Anyways.
According to the first question in Editorial 296, you said that the old Altador prize shop would reopen with the new one, giving those of us who hadn't finished spending points from the first Altador Cup another chance to do so. I don't see a link to the old shop, now that the new one has opened. Could you point me in the right direction? ~parkersc
If it's not up by the time this is published, don't worry, we haven't forgotten about it. We'll be making it available again soon so you can spend your old points if you wish. Remember, though, that the points for each year don't stack. You can't use old AC points to purchase items from the new prize shop.

The cap is 25,000 prize points. I believe you had to roughly have made it to the top "shield" to get enough prize points for it - though I'm starting to believe you had to have made it to the top shield before they adjusted the shields the last day, as not everyone who made it to the top shield got enough points.
Here's a run down of the prizes: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=752368#p752368

Did you have to be on Darigan to get the site theme?
Cody: Who went through all my Harry Potter books and added "o rly" each time Hedwig is mentioned?
Ty: I thought it would be better that way, Cody.
Cody: O RLY?
Ty: YA RLY!

I'm assuming you're talking about the same theme from last year...?
