It is, but slightly impersonal. Neopets has been losing the personality lately, and that's one of the biggest things I liked. *tear*. Boy, will I rant about this on the next episode of Neocast.

It's never been obscure, not aslong as I can remember.
And to be honest it never really bothered me, Just the idea that I'm (apparently) meant to find it funny. A chuckle once in a while if I've not heard it in a time, maybe, but not anything approaching the references you see if you spend as much time around computers as I do.
And If I see another ORLYOWL I'm going to lose it.
anyway, a lot of the references are still obscure to me, but maybe that's because i don't watch enough movies or something like that. like the "Sarah, go back to your room. Play with your toys. Forget about the 404" one is still lost to me. i remember reading up on what they alluded to before, but i forgot all about it
