First the new 404 page now this! It is just a bit too pretty.

I was seeing that same style when I was trying to snipe trick-or-treat bags from user shops. (This item does not exist!) Looks like they'll be replacing the current errors with it.
I think it's ugly and rather bright - I prefer the simple text with the softer-colored green back button.

That vile monstrosity freaked me out earlier. I was convinced I'd logged into a dodgy site for a second. With any luck it's just a test and something more in keeping with the site will replace it.

I'm hopeing it's a test too.

Not likely.. I think they have plenty of possibilities of testing such things on their own. Especially with something simple as a 404 image instead of text, it's more likely to be part of their extensive makeover of the entire site.

It's horribly ugly And when I first got it I was in someone's shop buying a sho codestone and forgot to withdraw np for it so I thought I'd been CGed or something...I actually studied the URL for like 5 minutes. x_x

I was sniping trick or treat bags when I first saw the new error thing, and was really freaked out. I thought I had clicked on a bad link or something! Thanks for the warning, TNT.

The black and red is hideous and painful to the eyes...ouch. I hate the fact that error/404 pages are now losing their personality.

I liked the old style better, I remember when the ratios weren't even displayed, and we just had to figure them out ourselves.

I like the old style better as well. I have a medium speed computer... not incredibly slow, but also not that fast. The new layouts do not cooperate with my computer/browzer. They either take too long to load, or don't load at all. D: Like Neovision. I can't even see that in this browzer.

The old layouts were just easier on my old computer, that I originally got when I was still in elementary school D: -pats poor computer that is starting to glitch-

And although things are 'more organized' and look more professional, the old layout has something that this new layout does, D:

They could have streamlined things better, I suppose, without losing too much of the "feel" of the site. I know what you mean about layouts acting up on certain browsers/computers. I have fast(er) cable internet and a new(er) laptop (two years old), and even then the pages sometimes don't load correctly.
