I was being EXTREMELY sarcastic.
I think EVERY Bleach fan is glad that that...thing is finally on its way out.
And as a tribute, a little list of everthing that's happened in the course of those 37 chapters outside the battle:

-Rukia annihilated Kaien/Aaroniero
-Ulquiorra showed up and owned Ichigo
-Grimmjow showed up and had Orihime heal Ichigo so they could fight
-Grimmy vs. Ichigo
-Ichigo refuses to kill him...but Nnoitra(almost) does!
-Nell-chan evolves
-Nell's backstory and release
-Zaraki, Byakuya, Mayuri, and Unohana show up
-Byakuya vs. Zommari (shortest...fight...ever)
-Mayuri FINALLY defeats Szayel...we hope.
