I like this and will be trotting off to target and buying a card or two. I wonder though why they did this, were they listening to feedback or were sales not up to what they were expecting .

No matter if this was a responce to feedback or just an internal decision, TNT really made a good move with the non-expiration of items. Just looking at this board alone, you can see how many more people are considering buying NeoCash cards now that they can keep the items. More cards sold = more money, and this was a great way to increase the number of cards sold.

After a little bit of thought, it occurred to me that perhaps the legal ramifications have been cleared up. I seem to recall that they said there were some rules they had to work out regarding real-life money and free accounts and freezing and stuff. Maybe Lawyerbot greenlit it?

I think that maybe they were being cautious with the expirations. If they decided to terminate the project due to, well anything really, they could just close the neocash shop and wait for everything to expire. It would be as if it hadn't happened.
I see this as a sign that the neocash will be a (more or less) permanent thing.

Be careful to make sure that the person didn't already use the card then is selling it. So be careful!

Hmmm, that makes a huge difference. Can I put neocash items in my gallery?

I heard that neocash items go directly to your closet, but have never purchased any.
Can somebody who has purchased answer this? Now I am horribly curious too.

If I remember correctly, when I bought a shirt it went to my inventory but closet was the only option.

This is such a smart move that I almost wonder if they'd been planning it all along. Very few people are interested in paying real money for virtual things that they can't even keep--but when you change any one of those conditions, it makes the NC Mall vastly more attractive.
Heck, I might buy a NeoCash card now.

Items go into your Inventory but the only option is to put it in your Closet.
As a sidenote: NC Mall items have there own line under all your other items - It states Neomall Items above them and the whole line is blue (rather than the individual item) and in Quick Stock the line is green, so you can't miss it!!
All my items do not expire.
On the other side of the coin:
Now I have to decide if I want to buy some more NC items!

I knew I would when they expired, but do I really need to now?
