So, I'm a recent convert to the sound of Jimmy Eat World, and noticed they had some tour dates coming up in the UK soon (end of Feb / start of March). Wondering if anyone on here had been to one of their concerts in recent times / at all? Not been to a proper concert before, so dunno what to expect? Guessin they'd be promoting their latest album (Chase This Light) plus throw in a few of the older favourites? More interested in whether they're a good concert band, or am better off giving it a miss

They're pretty good. If I do go, I'll be at Roundhouse or Brixon Academy, although they're quite far away.

Yeh I'm looking into Roundhouse too. Looks like tickets still available, n decently priced methinks, at £20 inc booking fee. Been looking into what they've done at the European gigs, looks like possible setlist (in rough order):



Looks good. People have mentioned seeing some of the band members before and after the concert, so might bring my Chase This Light album with me

The only song I like by them is Hear You Me. It's really pretty. But yeah, if you do go to a gig, make sure you go standing so you can dance, dance, dance.

Bought my tickets Me n 3 mates going now. Turns out we almost missed out on tickets Stuck on back row seated, but apparently its no worse other than missing the sensation of being right next to the band *shrug* Should still be good fun. Anyone else going?
