Oh thank goodness...I thought I had gone crazy.

Anyways, while I was going insane playing battle, I got quite a few random events, one included a battle challenger, but there was no picture, nor a description letting me know who.

Has that happened to anyone else?

Actually, yeah, it has. I thought it might have been Vira, since she was apparently speaking to me at the same time I got the challenge, but it might have been a placeholder, too, since she has her own picture and such (although I could also swear that I've already gotten her as a challenger, but that, I might be hallucinating.)

On a positive note, though, during the battle I've had, I've picked up something like three Codestones, a few random bags of 100 NP, and the Battle Faerie avatar. (50th kill on the Junior Squadron!). It's been rather lucrative.

I'm going to feel more than a little foolish if they have caps on win totals like they did for the last war ...... but not as foolish as if I'd stopped and they DON'T have caps!

News is up... nothing about the plot. *sigh*

Does anyone care about the posts that were lost, mostly about win caps and such? I managed to save all of them from my cache, but I'm not sure I want to post all of them...

I was wondering what happened to all the posts. Not really a big deal but it definitely confused me for a bit. I'm torn between wanting a plot update and not wanting one. I'm not maxed out on the easiest challenger yet, but at the same time I'm thinking that if there are caps I've already hit them all...

Care? Yes. I like having stable databases .

Also, since I didn't pay much attention last time (war)....win cap? Can I get a summary, or can someone point me to where they were discussed.

(aside)I actually said "Thank Fyora" in the presence of one of my friend who is also on Neopets, and the severity of the rolled eyes I got was pretty tough...but at least I have never spelt "cow" "K-a-u", lol

I am personally aching for a new step I am weary of battling at the moment though I am sure those words will come back to haunt me shortly.

This is a bit of a diversion from the plot as it is now... but I'm speculating on the Altador Cup. Last year, Shenkuu replaced Kreludor in the cup due to gravity disparity. I wonder if Sloth had anything to do with wrecking the team's training ground? It would be interesting if they tied that storyline with the JttLI storyline in this plot.

And, erm.... win caps? *confused* I don't battle, as you can probably tell from my lack of knowledge-ness, but what are/is it/they?

Win caps have only been used once (that I know of), in the TOW plot. Basically, you could fight the challengers as much as you wanted, but when our points were awarded, they only gave points for the first X number of battles (I believe it was 30). So even if you beat one of the guys 100 times, you only got plot points for your first 30 wins.

There was a large debate (which was lost - AySz88 said he'd repost it sometime) as to whether or not they are fair, etc.

I'm excited beyond belief, though! I managed to pull my number of wins up to 10 on Riilan!!

On another note, I'm ready for a new step or new challengers. The challengers have been up for a week today, and while I'm grateful for that (because my brother was actually able to fight some last night - it was his first chance to all week), I'm ready to move on.
