Hmm not sure I like such a low cap number (if that is what TNT decides to do) .. That kinda sends out the message that you don't really need to train your pet for the plots/wars because everyone that can beat the challengers at least 30 times will max out.
I'm no where near maxed out with the Junior Squadron (after 250 wins) how ever I have maxed out on the Strike Commanders after 75 wins and only managed 8 wins for Riilan. Those last few wins aginst the Commanders were not easy and it would be a shame to not get credit for them.
I think you misunderstand. It wasn't 30 wins total, it was 30 wins
per opponent so if 30 is the number, you'd get credit for 30 wins over the Junior Squadron, 30 wins over the Strike Commanders, and 8 wins for Riilan.
Basically, it's better to spend your time trying to pull off that last difficult win against the tough opponent, then tacking on another hundred wins against the easy opponent.

actually, re-reading you, you may not have misunderstood. oh well. My point stands the win limits are a way for them to encourage you to take on the hardest opponents you can, instead or racking up wins against the easy opponents.
and if their pattern holds, each set of challengers will be tougher than the previous wave, so training is still important. If they do it right, by the later waves, only the top battlers will be able to max out the higher level opponents.
BTW: you can still lookup how someone did in the TOW plot.
