I logged on this morning to find pages and pages of Battle requests for my lutari.
Having never recieved one before, is there something going on that I missed?

But your pet was probably a notable Neopet. When ever my pet gets featured, I get loads of neomails, neofriend requests, and battle requests.

Yeah... it's true. After you've fed three Organic Broccolis to your pet, you have to battle a blue, female Lutari who wears a Tin Foil Hat. The actual trick is to repeatedly shout "Bork bork bork" in a microphone during the battle, and then send the tape to The Neopets Team. This must all happen in 2½ minutes, so be fast.

The avatar is random though.

Correct -- it's not true. Sorry to all Lutari owners -- if someone spams the neoboards with this joke, you won't be able to play for two seconds without a challenge. Of course, I've never actually tested it, so I guess theoretically it *might* be true -- at least that would be my null hypothesis.
