Am I the only one who likes gummy dice? 2000 isn't all that hard; I got it first try.
AAA's prize is a book today:

I did it last year, because I clicked on AAA by mistake. My high score is 2008- haven't touched it since then, horrible game!

I think it's easier for me than Destruct-o-Match though.

I rather like gummy dice also :) it does take quite awhile to play but I still don't mind it. A fairly easy AAA win for me too.

and according to the boards Abigail's prize is Gummy Dice Blumaroo Cards.

Please...tips...gummy dice... @.@

(Translation: Could anyone please be chipper enough to post some fabulous hints and strategies to assist one in conquering the dastardly game, as I only have 1100 as a top score.)

yeah... as such, the book's current price (~400k) completely baffles me.... It should die down in a few days or so...

Be patient, and if you're in a tight spot, use the codes:

gummydice to change the colour of active die
delightful to change the active die to a morph die
explode to change the active die to a bomb die

I'd also suggest ending the game once you reach the 2000 mark, and don't complete the level...Good luck, you'd eventually get 2000+...

Is there a strategy for Gummy Dice? Should you try and space your dice so that you get more than 5 dice in one go? Or just try to get the 5 connected to reduce dice at the end?

Muaha, 7 tries in and 2004. I could have gone further but decided not to risk it.

Thankyou to the people who posted hints and tips. ^^ I didn't even end up using any of the cheats.

Still... 17/8 AAA/Abigail. Not enough time for me to try for all AAA.

Curses on you, metalmario! I told you TNT sometimes reads your thread (or your mind). Though I had no idea there were cheats for this game; maybe this won't be so bad after all. But I can't try now; I have to leave for school in 20 minutes to turn in a take-home midterm; I wouldn't want to miss the 8am bus for Neopets!

Pickles, good point about word games -- I just assumed TNT would have made one in each language. I remember in a previous DD they used a sponsor game for US residents, and others got a different game that day -- couldn't they change the daily game based on your language setting, so that you got the appropriate word game for your chosen language (or some other culture-specific game)? If they don't have a word game in each language, I feel bad for the neglected non-English speakers. I just really enjoy (and am actually good at) word games.

From another perspective, you can also argue that word games aren't exactly fair to children players. A player's vocabulary makes a large difference in certain word games.... In the meantime, I have doubts whether the same game in different languages have the same 'difficulty', so to speak. After that, you would need to acknowledge the fact that neopets isn't available in all languages - playing a word game in your second language can be seen as a disadvantage....

While I am indifferent to word games, I doubt they'll be featured in DD...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Can you beat 2000? I'm not sure if I can :(
Well, it's the same score to beat as last year, so I know I can do it. But it takes FOREVER and a freakin' day, and stresses me out. Hopefully I'll be able to make it on my first try, as I have to finish cleaning tonight because one of my inlaws will be over tomorrow immediately following work. I guess it could be worse, we could have this one tomorrow instead when I *really* won't have time for it.

But still, UUUUUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Why, oh why, TNT, did you hafta do this to us?! It's cruel and inhuman punishment for having worked so hard so far! This was the only game I color-coded as "orange" on my practice list, meaning, I don't ever want to touch it or practice it, but I can grudgingly get through it if I need to. I'd soooooo rather deal with Extreme Herder than this. Or *anything* but this. Ugh. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
Okay, admittedly, a lot my frustration comes from sheer laziness, as I hate this game and how long it takes to do. I strongly dislike games that take more than 15 minutes to play.

That's kinda more what I was getting at. I just know that a lot of the word games have been announced in the news when it's available in a new language, and I can't imagine trying to do 'em in a second language for any sort of dare. It's one thing to point and click and figure things out in a second language, but when it requires comprehension of every word and being able to come up with many....not so much.

Eh, 2000... My high-score is 1600 or something, and it's from last year's Daily Dare when I failed to beat AAA in it.

Oh, this day will be fun for sure. *eye twitch*

Done!

It's just one you have to persevere with I guess. There's just something very demoralising about watching all your points drain away at the end of the level!

Very, very much so.
Ugh, the more I think about this, the less I'm inclined to want to do it.
But I've come so far, it'd be kinda silly to give up now, and that'll probably be what makes me sit down and do it.

This game is worse than DOMII, in my opinion, even though DOMII was the only one i couldn't make last year. I think this is the one I dreaded most for a comeback.

I think TNT put it in purposefully to try and knock out some of us still holding out for beating AAA.

Guhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh x_x Why did they tease us with like 2 weeks of easy games and now they're bombarding us with these?? I beat my old high score of 1356 with 1470 but that's not even 3/4 of what I need. This is going to suck.

Also, I hate when the towers are so high that you can't judge where your current blocks are, so you guess, and then the bomb falls in an empty spot and a normal block falls on the tallest tower, which kills you. ;-;
