sry... i was wrong about the done thing... but something has definatly changed... lol my AAA challenges that said "Not Yet" before now say abigale... or nothing if i didnt beat her score... so a note for all those who are still trying beat AAA... you only get 1 chance to send your score now... if it doesnt beat him it counts to abigale

....unless its another crazy glitch that is....

Wow, that stinks that they ended it early -- there are still 5.5 hours left "before the 30th." Have you tried sending scores on any of the games to see if your status will change?

I just checked the story, and there are (still?) only 3 chapters up, so it doesn't look like they've released the new thing yet. I did get a chuckle out of the grammar in this, though:

Actually, I sent a score last night that beat Abigail on gummy dice and it said I'd beat her. But then today I managed to beat AAA and it still counted. (and updated the tallys accordingly) :)

It is not really ending early, just that the last 2 days have something different.

Putting together all the pieces, it seems AAA and Abigail get sucked into the screens and must win against Scram and/or Roothless in the new game Dungeon Dash.

Maybe only those who have done all 29 get the 'bonus' game and everyone else gets the games that were 'found' by their urls?

Whatever TNT has for us, the Daily Dare is definitely not over.

Kudos to TNT for trying to make this one different!!

I was referring to the (erroneous) assumption that the challenges had already shut down, even though there were still 5.5 hours left before the 30th -- it was just a misunderstanding. If it had been true, it would have stunk for someone still struggling to get their last AAA challenge done before midnight -- but it wasn't true, so no big deal.

Agreed -- I can't wait to see what's in store! It just might make up for the ROS plot ending; though to be fair, I probably set my own expectations too high for that one. I think they'll exceed my expectations with the DD, though.

Heh, yeah. I was really surprised that they included a mini-plot story to go along with it this year.
And I must say, I'm quite pleased that they let us know to catch up by the end of the day today, since they've got something else planned. They *could* have just let it sit, but not only did they put something in the news, but they did have a monitor and programmer both confirm it on the boards.

And I'm anxious to see what will happen tomorrow, too. ;)

Chapter 4 is up.

We can accept or reject challenge and/or play ICM.

I accepted the Roothless challenge and now it seems I have to beat him at Dungeon Dash? Anyone else accepted yet?

I accepted... so we have to beat Dungeon Dash, but the game isn't available!

Update on my scores- I challenged AAA every day, but on the days I couldn't beat him I sent scores that beat AA instead. Now instead of 'not yet', those scores are showing up as 'Abigail'. Which I'm hoping means I will get Uberriffic at the end.

Congratulations, you won your challenge!
AAA has awarded you Ice Cream Scoop Hat.

It's wearable and the AAA score is only 7,500. Now on to try Roothless...

Edit: And Dungeon Dare is unavailable. Eh?

I accepted the challenge and the game loaded ok for me.

I still have ICM on my list but no AAA or Abigail score to beat.

It's available for me now. Man it's boring!

ETA Just died in the Destruct-O-Match Level. Does anyone have any tips on what the little tools do? I know the spade clears bricks in the snowmuncher bit, and the spring helps you jump in the turmac roll level, but I've no idea what the bubble and the little orange thing do!
