Yes, Neopets has now placed ads in their own games

It sucks. It is very distracting while playing games. It is also hard to fit the game on the screen now. It is like the top or bottom gets cut off.

I know neopets has to make money, but I still don't know why they think more adds will improve the game. It is ruining the fun of the game. No one is going to want to play if they keep it up.

*sighs* Yeah.... more computer lagging, glitch inducing things. Games are my main source of income. Currently I've resorted to downsizing my IE window and resizing it to the size of the game window. For the ones that still work or are not glitched enough to prevent score sending.

You know the scenes in advert attack when sloth has a board meeting and goes more ads! more ads! with that grin on his face? I have a sudden mental picture of a TNT meeting with whichever genius/maniac who suggested this standing in for sloth with that exact expression....man, i think i need a long break from neopets.

Those........... Gee, how nice that's they're trying even harder to be user-friendly. I still have my monitor set on 800x600, and I'm sure not going to make everything on the screen impossibly small just for some stupid games. I don't even have words to describe my level of venom towards this idiotic decision right now.

Ah, fudge monkeys! I send all other windows down behind the game window precisly because of the ads. They slow my computer down so bad and lag the games.

This is going to make it harder to play all my games at once. (Advervideo playing while wheel of slime spinning while taking a sponsor personality quiz while doing my normal dailies in the main window) Sux.

I'm sure you can still use shift-click to open the game screens in new windows. You'll just have several ad-laden pages up, instead of one.

I'm just bummed that the games no longer get their own window. Darn. But other than the annoying lag at the beginning of each game, it's not really THAT bad, you guys.

Me too. I liked to move the pop-up window to more convenient places on the screen depending on the game. I guess I will learn to live with it, but I definately do not like it.

I like it that they're in the window; separate windows were kinda redundant to me. I have firefox with adblock plus (and Filterset.G Updater) so I don't see the ads.

Yeh but now you have all the crap at the top of the game window, which means the bottom of the game is often cut off >.<

I always had a hard time with certain games unless they were in a specific place in my field of vision - ultimate bullseye 2 comes to mind.
