Hi! I'm averly and I finally caved in and formally joined PPT after lurking around for awhile. Pickles introduced me to it awhile back as a great resource and I've been hooked ever since.

I joined neopets the first time in 2001 or so but stopped playing... I still remember my id and password but my account doesn't exist anymore . I try not to think about how much some of those items I used to have would be worth now.... (yeah I'm a NP-obsessed individual, I admit it).
I joined again like... three and a half years ago and play fairly casually (when I'm not pulling all-nighters at WORK of all places) but love to do the plots. I wish we'd get another one like LDP.

OUTSIDE of the world of neopets I work in IT and like to read and write a lot. My social life consists of... umm... my two cats.

PPT is an awesome place and I look forward to getting to interact with people more now!

Hi avery! Welcome to the PPT forums! If you're a friend of Pickles, you're a friend of all of us I think a lot of us stopped playing Neopets at one point in time, then re-started. I know that my second time around, I'm overall more successful, but I have moments where I think back to my first account and all of the transmogrification potions that Sloth gave me, and I could have hoarded. Oh well.

(I tell you how I knew later) I wish a friend of mine introduced me to PPT instead because it would be better if you have a friend to help you around PPT rather than having a complete stranger. Oooh you're close. Pickle's sister is actually my best friend. I've known Pickles for YEARS. I wish we could get her sister on but I'm not sure she ever will - right now she's got some big things going on in her life.

I consider myself insanely lucky to have Pickles around! Hopefully it'll stop me from doing something stupid and/or highly embarrassing. In some ways she's like the big sister I never had!

Welcome to PPT. We've had a long history with Pickles. Why, we used to be the no.1 manufacturer of them on all the net. Then they all coalesced into one giant monster which is the Pickles we know today.

I still say we're not being provided with enough monetary compensation from the merger.
