Ok I thought this was just me. I must have received my free NC right as they released it, because I was very confused and not sure where I had earned it from. When I didn't see anything on PPT or the Neoboards I assumed I must have just won the Expellibox at one point and didn't notice. Guess I'm not special

Don't know what I want to buy though. I have two unconverted pets, a mutant, and a lab rat so it feels kind of pointless to buy anything.

Well, I have the stupid newbie checklist, but it no longer has a link to the free neocash. Can you imagine the number of people that must have clicked that link during the first few minutes it was up on everybody's page?

Guess I'll have to wait a day or two for the huge rush to die down before trying to grab mine...

I wonder if we're allowed to collect on side accounts as well? I mean, the usual rule is "don't do anything that could earn NP" and getting free NC can't earn NP.

I think it's a good move. I had never really considered buying anything from the NC Mall until I won 150 NC from the scarab game last week. Now I have at least $6 worth of stuff I'm tempted to buy. :-) You think about the stuff differently when you actually have NC to spend, even if it's only a little bit of NC.

Well I do like free things. I had no problems collecting the NC on my main account, but I just tried to collect on my side, and I got the message saying there was trouble giving it out. Now the link is gone. I hope it comes back - I want free NC!
