I bought the wings of darkness for my halloween cybunny on one of my sides (http://www.neopets.com/petlookup.phtml? ... ween_child if you want to see ). I'm loving the way they look on her.

I will probably end up buying a mystery capsule on my main, and if not I'm getting one on a different side because I'm really wanting to try one...lol

I was just looking at an old picture of my cybunny and noticed that the old one had a cape-y thing and now she doesn't. Are halloween cybunnys supposed to get paintbrush clothes? I know a lot of halloween pets do...

So yesterday I tried collecting the free Neocash, but it just brought me to a page that said "Sorry, you cannot collect the free NC at this time." Now the link is gone and I don't have anything. Anyone having similar problems, or is my long-lost terrible luck just kicking in again?

EDIT: Okay, so sometime in the past couple minutes, that bug has been fixed.

I ended up buying a Mystery Faerie Capsule and ended up with a Floating Jhuidah Doll

I see why they're giving it out - it's actually a clever marketing strategy. It's to entice people to become repeat 'customers', that they wouldn't have otherwise.

The local pub does this - they do $10 steaks every Monday, and while it either makes a very minimal profit (or they break even without a profit), or they make a loss, they do get the extra revenue from customers who come in and buy drinks that they wouldn't otherwise.

..That said, I don't know why they bother. They made $9000 from my uni last Thursday night. Two words: exams over.

I have a Halloween Cybunny as well, and as far as I know, the cape was completely removed in the revamp. There isn't one in the Closet, and I haven't heard of any plans to add one. It really irritates me because a) I really liked that little cape and b) now there's almost no difference between a Halloween Cybunny and a plain Red one. If I had wanted Red, I would have bought Red!! I want that cape back, darnit!

Anyway, I was finally able to spend my NC last night - got a Twisted Roses Background from a Sparkling Purple Capsule. While I'm happy I got more than my (fake) money's worth, I have a pet on a side account that it would go better with - but I can't send it over there. I seem to be having a lot of goodbad luck lately.

With all the cool stuff (and by cool stuff I mean stuff worth over 150NC) the Sparkling Purple Mystery Capsule has been giving away I decided to try it on another one of my sides. I got a Floating Grey Faerie Doll, worth 150NC. Bah. I don't even like it. Stupid emo hobo looking lady. Hmph.

I got a Shenkuu Performer Mask for my Jetsam on my other side account, and it looks like cool tattoo markings or something, I like it!

Still can't decide what I want on my main, gahhh.
