I'm hoping to raise enough money in order to get a new PC.

I've worked it out -
I get £520 pocket money a year,
on average, £200 a year from working,
£300 for Christmas,
£100 for birthday.

That's a total of £1120 in a year.
The PC I'm aiming to get is £1190.

I'm looking for the fastest way to earn this money as possible, preferably working from home. Bare in mind I am under the legal working age, and I'm not allowed to work set hours.

I am adept when it comes to Flash Animation, such as Website Introductions, functional sites, that load from external files, et cetera. I'm currently trying to produce a web template which I can sell on Ebay.
I am also producing a 80 page Neopets guide to sell on Ebay - a trimmed version will be released on PinkPT after a while too.

Are you aware of any options available to me that allow me to earn from home, on a medium scale? I'm thinking minimum wages, but whatever would suit me just fine.

Thanks.

First: Where are you buying this PC?
Are you sure it is the cheapest way to get it?
No I don't mean steal it, I mean is the store / site the cheapest.
Dino PC is FREAKISHLY cheap, I got an [almost] top-of-the line gaming PC for half of PC worlds "top of the line" PC is (Which has worse specs than mine. Except the monitor. Woo hoo)

Other than this, the only thing that comes to mind is "Get a better job" but that's not terribly helpful is it.

Whoa! That PC you're trying to buy is EXPENSIVE! It's even more expensive than my tablet PC. Since I have no experience with the world of work, I have no idea how to earn more money. All I can give is that you wait and save up the money you currently have. Do you really need the PC this instant?

Probably you could learn to make some stuff.
I posted about this one website called instructibles.com and it's nice. You can learn to make stuff out of things lying around your house really. I saw one on how to make a homemade bow and arrow. I saw a lot of videos on how to make origami things. There are some nice videos on beading and making nice bead necklaces and bracelets. Really, search the internet and find some kind of craft that interests you. You can probably make something and if you are good at it, you can sell things that you make to your friends and neighbors.

Isn't it instructAbles.com ? with an A?

Ebay.
Seriously. Sell anything you don't want or need if you have them. Seriously, anything. Buy a lettuce, name it Bob or something else like that, sell it, give some percent of the money to charity, keep the rest. It works, I swear! People like names veggies for some reason. Other than asking for a little extra pocket money / gift money, that's all I can think of.

I don't exist. omo

If it's your thing, baby sitting. Not mine, but I always can manage to grab some cash that way if I need it.

Work in a library. Great pay and lots of free time to do whatever you want.

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

I go to alot of consignment shops and sell back clothing or items I dont need. Goodness knows I have alot of unworn clothing lying around.

It also never hurts to ask family if they have any odd jobs you can do for them for some scrap money. Ask for some money to wash the car or rake leaves. Maybe even give the dog a bath.

I also have a bank where I keep change. It takes a little bit, but it does really add up. I always ask my mom, sister and grandpa for their spare change too. I think in about 3 weeks I had close to $40 USD.

It's also fun to find a craft you're good at and make/sell items.

Selling your stuff is a decent way to make some money. There's this chain called Half-Price Books that buys used books, DVDs, and CDs. You won't get anywhere near the original price, but for stuff you're not using it can really help. My friend hawked a bunch of CDs and DVDs and got $125.

What kind of libraries do you have in Australia? Library jobs here are highly sought-after and aren't easy.

Our library is all automated - there are no job vacancies for under eighteens there, sadly.

Set up a premium phoneline that charges $5.99 per minute. Find out how! Call 1900-643-0892!

Calls cost $5.99 per minute. Phoneline may not actually exist. Terms and conditions apply. Consult your physician if condition persists for more than four hours
