I haven't seen any of the Rasberry ants yet (at least, I don't think I have), but it'll only be a matter of time before they show up in my yard. I just don't understand how they're causing electrical damage.

This was perhaps the most disturbing paragraph from the article:

fire ants scare me because when they attack they go crazy. I dont mind big black carpenter ants. They dont hurt anything. They're just fun to watch.

Yeah I have seen some. They are completely crazy! We have to worry about them because my mom is allergic to fire ants and such and we don't know if she is also allergic to these as well.. :{
