Yeah I thought I did pretty well (you as well Rissa) figuring that everyone would get a couple wrong, but in the back of my mind I knew there'd be a freak out there like WIS :D (Just playing)

"Everyone, please go to the nomination table, it's time for us to reveal my nominations," instructed WIS as he ran up to his HOH room to retrieve something.

---

The houseguest's assembled at the table, waiting anxiously, who would be nominated and why? WIS came down with a marble block in his grasp; it was circular and contained 12 slots, 8 of which were filled with keys.

"Well it's Week two, and I still don't really know who to nominate, yet. But I have come to a decision and I believe that it was the best way for me to go, this early in the game," WIS paused, "So the first person safe is Hansy,"

Hansy nodded his head as WIS spun the small table which the block was on towards him. Hansy picked up his key and hung it around his neck.

"John, you are safe," he said as he drew John's key from the block.

John nodded his head as Hansy spun the small table which the block was on towards him. John picked up his key and hung it around his neck.

"Laryxler, you are safe," he said as he drew Laryxler's key from the block.

Laryxler nodded his head as John spun the small table which the block was on towards him. Laryxyler picked up his key and hung it around his neck.

"May, you are safe," he said as he drew May's key from the block.

May nodded her head as Laryxler spun the small table which the block was on towards her. May picked up her key and hung it around her neck.

"Penguin, you are safe," she said as she drew Penguin's key from the block.

Penguin nodded his head as May spun the small table which the block was on towards him. Penguin picked up his key and hung it around his neck.

"Regan, you are safe," he said as he drew Regan's key from the block.

Regan nodded her head as Penguin spun the small table which the block was on towards her. Regan picked her key and hung it around her neck.

"Rissa, you are safe," she said as she drew Rissa's key from the block.

Rissa nodded her head as Regan spun the small table which the block was on towards her. Rissa picked up her key and hung it around her neck.

"Susannahmio, you are safe," she said as she drew Susannahmio's key from the block.

Susannahmio nodded her head as Rissa spun the small table which the block was on towards her. Susannahmio picked up his key and hung it around her neck.

The only two houseguest's left without a key were Lee and 3lla.

"When I found out I won Head of Household, I was a little uneasy as I wasn't sure how the nomination process was going to go. But then I saw that 3lla and Lee did not participate, and I thought that it would be fair that the houseguests who actually participated were safe," stated WIS, "Good luck to both of you in the Veto competition, this meeting is adjourned,"

The rest of the houseguest's stood up from the table and began to hug one another. Which Houseguest will win the Power of Veto and will they use it to save either 3lla or Lee?

(Sorry for the late post, I have an exam next week so I lost track of time when I was studying tonight.)

I just wanted to make a quick note: First off I will not be posting kitties. But I will say I participated, but it was turned in late. Obviously all my fault. :(

General Announcement

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, 3lla has dropped out of the game. I'd like to wish 3lla all the best and I hope she is able to sort everything out alright :)

In regards to how this effects the game, I have asked WIS to nominate a replacement for 3lla. The following is his decision,

"I really couldn't decide how to pick the next nominee, and since I didn't have a lot of time to decide, I have chosen at random and unfortunately the person going up against Lee is John,"

John is now nominated alongside Lee.

Power of Veto Competition #2

In this competition, Houseguest's will try their luck at gambling and see if they hold the lucky cards to win the coveted Power of Veto!

Players in the POV Competition,

WIS
John
Lee
Penguin
Hansy
Regan

Each Houseguest will be given $25 to bet on 5 horse races. If the horse a Houseguest bets on wins a race, you will receive double the amount you bet on the horse back. For instance,

Lisa bets $6 on Horse 2 in Race 1.

Horse 2 finishes first.

Lisa receives $12 for winning.

If Lisa's horse came in second place, she would only receive half of her bet back. For instance,

Lisa bets $6 on Horse 3 in Race 2.

Horse 3 finishes second.

Lisa receives $3 for coming in second place.

If Lisa's Horse comes in last to third place, she will receive none of her bet back.

The Houseguest who ends up with the highest amount of cash at the end of five races will win POV.

Here are your horses you can select from,

Horse 1 - Donny
Horse 2 - Mariam
Horse 3 - Kathy
Horse 4 - Joe Li
Horse 5 - Erica

There are a total of 5 races so your PM for today's POV should look like the following,

Race 1 - Donny, Bet: $7
Race 2 - Mariam, Bet: $5
Race 3 - Kathy, Bet: $5
Race 4 - Erica, Bet: $5
Race 5 - Joe Li, Bet: $3

If you look carefully at the amounts for the bet, they all add up to $25. Therefore your bets must equal $25. In addition, you MUST bet at LEAST $1 per race.

In case of a tie,

How many Houseguest's listed "Rock" as their favourite music genre?

Good luck!

Aw, John. =(

Question... if we must bet at least 5$ per race, and we have 25$, it means we must bet 5$ every race, or was there a mistake because I see a 3$ bet on the quote?

I was just thinking the same thing. If you have a min bet of $5 then you have to bet $5 per race.

Good luck everyone!

*sits this one out*

No, you're right.

I meant to write $1 but I guess with all the $5 talk, I wrote it by accident.

It just has to equal $25.

Again, sorry for the confusion.
