The blue surrounding it that connects it to the rest of the top bar is a different colour of blue. It's irritating me

Wow. You must have really good eyes, Christopher. I took a screenshot just to see if there's really a difference, and there is. The one on the image is R 215, G 224, B 228, and the background of the top bar is R 217, G 223, B 228.

What's even more amazing is that I know what you mean. Although I never really pay attention to the logo, if I look at it, I can see a pretty noticeable difference between the colors

If you screenshot it, and use paint to fill the top banner with one colour, it will leave the rectangle with the arrow logo, cos it's a slightly different shade of blue.

The area surrounding the logo is bluer compared to the rest of the top which is greyer
