For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

O.o I wasn't even in the desert. Now someone can attack with desert? (Unless I missed that when I skimmed through?)

I would vote for Weee as well, but alas I only have one vote. Some of your logic is quite flimsy.
Yes, it isn't a dreamer hit - but sitting around waiting for something more substantial is ridiculous.
If your role is what you say it is, then you'll just be self-revived.

Miyu, if you think my logic is flimsy, provide examples. Otherwise, I'll be forced to disagree

I find it very hard to believe that our best lead is someone who's been role-revealed and has not had their revealed role claimed by anyone else. If that's the case, everyone who's had time to actually be active this game is doing a very, very bad job of collecting information.
I stand by my idea from...a while ago?...to execute some random very inactive person, on the grounds that someone who is essentially a brick is a better execution target than someone who was both role-revealed and a decent baddie target magnet. Now I just need to run through the player list and figure out who's been inactive longest...

What would getting rid of inactives gain us?
Because it is quite obvious that the baddies; at least the spokesperson is not being inactive.

Execution, Day 11
Typhoon shook his head mournfully.
"It seems to be very hard for you all to come to a decision sometimes..."
There was no execution.

Night 11
Had Death Mountain not erupted, Pixa could easily have defended against the whirling fire and ice attacks of the witch, but the resultant lava and ash had weakened him to the point that he couldn't hold out, and he fell in battle.
Regan was preparing another curse, but her sigils and signs were trampled into the dust by a bloody-minded beast, and she soon followed, leaving a bloody smear in the dirt.
Miyu was hurting after a couple of attacks, and this last one was the final straw. She couldn't stand up to a giant skeleton with a sword, no matter how she tried.
In other news, a whirling tornado (the result of Regan's curse) hit Pickles, even though she didn't post. She survived, though.
Summary:
Pixa was attacked by fire and ice and died. He was the Skull Kid.
Regan was attacked by a beast and died. She was Vaati.
Miyu was attacked by a giant skeleton and died. She was Dampe.
Pickles was hit by a whirling dark tornado, but survived.

Did the baddies just trash each other?
Sun Oct 05, 2008 9:07 am
...Looks like it, yeah.
Also looks like we should have all baddie teams accounted for, most likely. Blue, Red, Purple, and Pink?
And to answer Miyu's question: Executing an inactive would give us a chance of actually reaching majority for a change. If we have a concrete lead - and by that, I mean one that hasn't been role-revealed as innocent - then sure, don't bother. But in a case like yesterday...
And for anyone who wants to know my reasoning for trusting the role-reveal:
1. I flat-out trust that this role was written by some combination of Ryguy and Tanner. This rules out the possibility of a 'make your own role-reveal' item or power.
2. Maybe things are different at PPT, but I've never seen a pre-made fake role-reveal item or power, meaning that the role being revealed was probably one in use in the game.
3. The most logical way for averly to have pulled off a fake role-reveal would be for her to have gotten herself switched with someone else, then role-revealed (or used someone else's role as her own some other way). Ignoring how hard that would likely be to pull off as a baddie, the person who actually had the role being posted on the thread should have spoken up by now. Since this hasn't happened, this scenario clearly did not play out.

They say Tom was the one with the info on Averly.
Tom just died evil. I think we can definitely trust the role reveal, no?

I've just been informed of a dreamer hit.
From other stuff I've been told, I think it should mean that averly is innocent.

A dreamer hit is better than process-of-elimination-has-an-l-in-her-name-told-to-us-by-someone-who-just-died-evil.
Sorry, Averly. Guess it's a good thing we couldn't get our act together the last two nights, but let's try to do so now, eh?
