So this morning I was contemplating a petpet match for a pet of mine and was looking through the petpet puddle. I rarely use the Neopet's petpet list because I don't like how they categorize things and whatnot. Not the point. I'm looking at specific petpets and am noticing that a few of them are missing colours I KNOW were released in the news. I know, stop the presses TNT doesn't release anything on time. But I kept looking around and noticed that the petpet puddle has not been updated with petpets from the news since the week of April 14th. The last time new petpet colours were added (that I can tell) were four new colours for the Quintilc. Since then, nothing.

So yes, we all know that TNT fails when it comes to releasing petpets, but 6 months of them?

I am really peeved right now. There have been a lot of petpet designs released in the past 6 months that I just love to bits and hate the thought of them rotting in Nowheresville.

And to keep this from being entirely a rant: I am correct in thinking that if a colour of petpet doesn't show up in their official list, the petpet cannot be painted that colour, yes?

Six months of no changes to the Puddle!? Now, that's insane. And I'm sure it would be really easy to update it! You just get it sorted by name and insert the image, and the petpets come up in two categories, excluding the default search.
But if it is true that if it doesn't show up, it can't be painted, I'm sure many people wouldn't be too happy that they want their petpet painted Faerie, but apparently, it's there, even though TNT announced it was released.

I doubt that a lack in the petpet puddle means you can't paint them. D; Well at least I hope not.

I have heard, however, that since the new layout hundreds of kadoatery food items have been mentioned in the news and not released. That's from a reliable source... and it's not including all of the other kinds of items out there =/

Personally, I think that if TNT put in the news "Hey, we finally released all of those items!" instead of "Oh, look, more plushies!!" most neopians would be more happy. XD I mean, I would gladly live without new items for a few weeks to a few months if just all of those items could be released. Giving us the things we're looking forward to > attack of new random items to make restocking more difficult? XD I mean, there are so many petpets and cool items I want to buy people as christmas presents and such that I can't buy at this point D;

But... considering how it would mean 'fessing up to their mistakes/slowness, there's really not a high chance in hell that this'll ever happen.

however, i must give them credit that they have improved within the past year when it comes to fixing things. XD although a lot of things are still failing, they've at least made effort to fix multiple things around the site, and that's better then it was this time last year?
