Just bought 1000 shares of FAER for 15,000 Neopoints. My entire portfolio on Neopets is down 20%

I have about 800,000 Neopoints invested in the stock market, but all of that is currently only worth about 635,000.... It makes me want to cry.

May, my stocks are also down >20% (paid 1,993,000, worth 1,577,000 -- that's more than 400,000 NP down). But at least if you leave 'em there, they'll eventually come back up. And at least it's not real money. My 401K was worth over 27k, and now it's down below 20k -- but that'll eventually come back up, too.

I bought 1000 FAER at 15/share.

Finally, at least one of my stocks moved. If the market ever makes a big upswing, I'll be sitting pretty -- I currently have (after this sale) 136,000 shares outstanding (spread across 35 companies), worth 2.088 MNP (bought at 2.081 MNP).

ETA: 10/24 sold 1000 shares of KAUF at 57000. {times 4!} another ~231k. That's 1/2 a million in 2 days (well really, months and months of waiting) -- not bad! The market seems to be on an upswing?

10/29 sold 2000 shares of DROO for 122000 NP. I've noticed POWR is down to 253. Last time when it dipped into the 300's, I thought about buying it but was worried about the risk -- then it proceeded back up to over 600. I'm wondering if I should buy at least a few shares -- I'm not saving up for anything in particular, so I have plenty of NP that if I lost, it wouldn't really bother me.

I sold 8000 shares of HELT for 66NP each (all purchased at 15NP each), for a total of 527,980 (407,980 profit). And then I spent 15,000 on 1000 shares of FAER.

Of course, my current portfolio is down 67.84% right now... Ah, well, what goes down must come up, right?
