Anyywho. Looking at my shield I'll be surprised if I survive the execution, so I can't be bothered to keep up the pretence, was fun while it lasted though. Whilst I've not lied about what my role does - it's not innocent powers. Boromir, if you've not roletraded with anyone else yet, it's in your best interests to send me a PM and let me know who you are in case I do survive execution.

You're probably going to survive execution now, you know.

Unvote: Ammer

...I dunno. Like Siniri, I think something is fishy, but I can't quite put my finger on it. =/ However, this seems the best thing to do for now.

Okay, I've received and sent ~70 PM's today for this game, but I'll be in Red Cross Mass Care/Shelter Management training all day tomorrow, so I won't be able to respond to PM's. I think I've answered everyone's questions, anyway, and made some connections for people, but I just wanted to let you know I'll be out of the loop. I'll probably have to vote in the early morning, so I hope leads get out there quickly.

Execution, Day 8

Varda took the bow that Nienna had attempted to execute Malibu with the previous night as the crowd gathered. She looked around as everyone came up, chanting loudly, "Malibu, Malibu, Malibu!" There was a slightly lesser chant for Ammer, but it wasn't *quite* decisive enough for a doubled execution.
Varda selected an arrow as several of the leaders of the chant moved Malibu to a large rock formation and tied her into place, then scampered back to the crowd. Everyone silenced - even Nienna stopped weeping for once - as Varda set the arrow, raised the bow, and aimed. As she released the bow, it turned white, shining with the light that she normally emitted.
The arrow struck right on target. Malibu let out one final scream before she disappeared in a bright burst of white light.

Result:

Malibu was executed. She was
Denethor, the evil Steward of Gondor.

The Steward has been defeated!

Night 8

Pixa was the first one to bed tonight, and was quite comfortable but a bit worn out. He figured he would sleep like a rock, but when Pardona looked in on him, he was tossing a little. Pardona moved a bit closer, and Pixa calmed down, as if Pardona's mere presence was enough to keep fear away.

After checking on Pixa, Pardona made his way out of camp to see if he could figure out who was causing the disturbances by sending frightful images into the minds of unsuspecting folk. He walked out a ways, lost in thought trying to figure out what evil wizard might be able to pull off deeds that he would never do. He was completely oblivious to the oliphants whose path he walked directly into. He was stomped on in seconds.

Regan was deep in Helm's Deep when she heard the hissing she knew to watch for. Unsure where it came from, she made her way in one direction, only to run directly into a waterfall of lava. Thinking she had absolutely no chance of survival, she closed her eyes and winced, prepared for the end, only to see the lava arc a way from her. Realizing she was completely unharmed, she fled as quickly as she could before her luck ran out.

Feeling certain that evil was about, Siniri moved through the woods as quietly as she could trying to sneak up on the monstrous figure she saw from a distance. Just then, one of her bare feet stepped on a stick. She tried backing away, but it was too late, the figure spotted her. It came running towards her on what appeared to be more legs than any creature really needed. She tripped and fell down as she ran away, and the creature used that time to crush her.

Results:
Pixa almost had a nightmare, but was reassured.
Pardona is killed by a stampede of oliphants. He was
Gandalf, the protector against monster attacks. He cannot be resurrected.
Regan was attacked by lava, but was protected.
Siniri is crushed by a large creature and died. She was
Merry, the hobbit that gambled with people's protections.

Day 9 Begins.

*hides* I can't believe I forgot to post. I remembered several times then kept getting busy and fell asleep at the computer. I'm sorry I don't even have a good excuse for missing today. *Blames it on exhaustion. So glad it is Friday.

Wow. Just, wow :o

What is lava doing in Helm's Deep, anyways? I think there is something amiss amongst the innocents. This seems like too much of a coincidence, all of these innocent deaths during the night.

Why am I being voted for? I haven't done anything to anyone. O.o If there are any roles here that can tell if someone is lying, they can feel free to target me and know that I speak the truth.

Also, did anyone check out Pixa after this suspicious post? That seems to have been forgotten unless something was done in secret to clear him and just not posted in thread.
