Welcome to the December Art Competition!

For this month's theme, you must design a...

Holiday Carol!!!

Carols in general are songs or poems which describe the holiday spirit. You may write about ANY holiday (Christmas, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, etc...) or about snowflakes and snowmen!

Note: You only need to submit the words of your Holiday Carol; an electronic recording is not necessary.

Rules:

1. Everything submitted must be your own work. Anyone caught copying a work from someone else will be banned from the Monthly Art Contest and there may be more serious consequences around the forum.

2. All entries should be submitted by PM or e-mail to Rachel and Ammer. Only one entry per contestant will be accepted.

3. All entries are due by 5 PM EST on Sunday, December 21st. All entries will be posted on Monday, December 22nd with winners being announced on Tuesday, December 30th. There will be two winners for each competition. One winner will be decided by the members of the forum and another winner will be decided by members of the staff.

Christmas Carol.

The holiday starts on a fine christmas morning
The air is smooth and the birds are calling

The boy awakes to find his present under the tree
He is curious and wonders what there can be

Opening his presents his heart was filled with joy
That was obvious as just a little boy.

He played and enjoyed his presents. He was so happy no one but St Nick could ever know
But sooner than expected the Christmas day was drawing towards a close

Happy with a smile he goes to bed that day
And that brings the end to our holiday.
